Cole POV

---------------

I watched as Jeremy's car drove away. I felt a sharp pain in my heart as I saw Allan looking back at me through the car side mirror.

Honestly I was hoping that he would of said yes to my offer to drive him home but out of all of the rumors that I heard about Allan is that he lives on the streets or stays at a homeless shelter.

I just don't want to believe that because it hurts me to just think that he doesn't have a loving family to go home to.

I slowly raised my hand and touched my chest. What is this feeling? I thought as I watched the car dissappear down the street.

"Hey Cole, are you alright?"

I lifted my head and saw my mom looking through the window.

"It's freezing get in, I don't want you catching a cold."

I nodded my head and quickly opened the car door and swung my backpack on the backseat.

I sighed deeply as I sinked down into the seat.

I could feel my mom's eyes on me.

"What's wrong sweetie? Your not acting like yourself, did you get in a fight with Rachel?"

"No, Rachel and I are fine, it's just I met this boy and I just kind of worry for him, you know."

"Aw it's good to see you care about your friend, who is he? Have I met him before?" She asked as she started to drive out of the schools parking lot.

"No you haven't met him, well his name is Allan I don't know his last name..."

The car screeched to a stop.

My head hit against the back of the seat.

"What the hell mom!" I yelled as I rubbed the back of my head.

"I don't want you to go anywhere near that boy! Do you hear me!" She said in anger as she gripped her fist tightly.

"He is bad news, Jeremy got involved with him and do you see him now! He does drugs and he doing bad in school, his mother is devastated and he won't listen to her anymore." Tears began to drip down her cheek.

"Please promise me to not get involved with him." She begged as she gripped my hand tightly.

I nodded my head as I looked at her shocked. How did she know about Allan.

"OK mom I promise, ok so you can stop crying."

My mom quickly wiped away her tears. She started the engine and smiled at me.

"Thank you sweetheart." She said as she began to drive towards the house.

I smiled back as I turned to look out the window. My eyes widen as we drove past the homeless shelter. I wonder if he is there now? I thought as I watched many different people go in and out.

I close my eyes but all I could imagine was Allan smiling back at me.

I could feel my lips curve into a smile. There's something about him I just can't seem to forget him.

As we made it to the house I notice Jeremy's house. His car was parked in the driveway.

I wonder what relationship they have with each other?

As we parked onto the driveway I quickly opened the door and grabbed my backpack. I rushed into the house and ran up the stairs towards my room.

"Dinner will be ready at 6!" She yelled as she slammed the front door behind her.

"OK!" I yelled as I took off my shoes and fell onto my bed.

I started to text Rachel but I still kept on thinking about Allan.

Why did I lie to him? I should of told him that I had a girlfriend he will find out sooner or later. But when he does will he think I'm a bad person, will he think I'm a liar.

"Ugh!" I shoved my face into the pillow. Why can't I stop thinking about him.

I felt my phone vibrate in my hand. It was Rachel. Looks like she wants me to come over.

I sighed as I got up and slipped on my shoes. I guess I should go to try to get things off my mind.

I ran down the stairs and opened the front door.

"Hey mom I'll be back I'm going to go over to Rachel's house." I yelled.

"Alright make sure to be back at 6." She said.

Her voice disappeared as I shut the door behind me.

I began to walk down the sidewalk. I watched as the water dripped off the trees.

"BOO!"

"AHH." I yelled out as I backed away.

"Did I scare you?" The boy said in a mocking tone.

I looked up and smiled as I saw who stood in front of me.

"Allan! Jesus you scared the hell out of me."

"Sorrry." He said as he smiled brightly at me.

"Uh so were you at Jeremy's house?" I asked nervously.

"Yup just finishing where I left off." He said as he began to walk forward.

"Oh sorry about that, I didn't mean to interrupt."

"It's fine I was tired anyway so..." he looked back at me and smiled. "Where are you off to?"

"Oh just going to a friends house."

He chuckled. "Don't you mean your girlfriend's house."

"Wait what? You know already?" I looked at him shocked.

"Well duh...I don't understand why you lied to me though." He said as he stopped and started to walk closer to me.

"Why did you lie to me?" He asked as his eyes looked into mine.

"I...uh....um. I just didn't want to tell you." I could feel my hands start to tremble.

He noticed and grabbed both of my hands.

"Do you like me? Do you want to play with me?" He asked as he clenched my hands tighter.

"I uh... yea...yes." I said as I felt my legs go weak.

"COLE! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!" I flinched as I heard the voice.

I slowly turned around and saw my mom staring angrily at me.

"Looks like mommy is mad." I heard Allan say.

I swallowed hard and I could feel my hand squeeze Allan's hand tighter.

To be continued....
