Catra's POV

I groan, rubbing my head. "Ow . . ."

Melog sniffs my face and licks my eyelid.

"W-Where are we . . .?"

I sit up and look around. We lay surrounded by rubble, in what looks like a tunnel.

Melog nudges me, trying to get me up. I do as I'm told, wobbling before I catch myself.

"Can you find the others?" I look down at Melog, and he begins walking forward

I follow, trusting Melog.

After a few minutes of walking, Melog lighting up the passageway, we make it to an intersection, where another source of light stands on a pedestal.

Melog continues to walk, but I stop in my tracks, staring at the mysterious object.

As my eyes focus on it, I begin to see a plant. A small tree in a pot, similar to the ones above.

I blink. It's really pretty.

"Catra?"

The yell is faint, but I can hear it coming from one of the other passages.

"Adora! I'm here!" I smile, relief flooding through me.

After a moment, I begin to see her glow.

She sighs in relief when she sees me. "You're okay?"

I chuckle, hugging her. "Yeah, I'm okay."

Adora hesitates, shocked that I hugged her out of nowhere. But she then transforms back and hugs me back.

We stay like that for a long time.

I blush and clear my throat, pulling away. "We-We can get all mushy on the ship, we've gotta find the others and get this artifact back to the ship."

She blinks and looks behind me at the tree. "Wow."

Adora steps forward and rests her hand on the base. She smiles. "This is it! This is what we came for!"

I look at her, smiling softly. It's nice to see her smile.

"ACK, IT'S RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!"

Adora and I both look at another passage, where the voice came from.

Entrapta appears from the darkness, starstruck when she sees the tree. "WOW!!!"

Behind her comes Bow, Glimmer, Hordak, Wrong Hordak and Emily.

Glimmer and Bow smile when they see us. "Adora, Catra!"

They hug us both, and I hesitantly hug back.

When they pull away, I look down. "I thought you were still mad at me . . ."

Glimmer chuckles. "What do you mean? Mad about what?"

My tail flicks, and I trace the ground with my foot. "For everything I've done . . ."

Bow blinks, still grinning. "Catra, we forgave you a while ago!"

I look up. "You did . . .?"

"Yeah!" Glimmer hugs me. "What made you think we hadn't?"

"Well, you've both been acting a little weird around me . . ."

Glimmer slaps her forehead. "Ohh! No no no, we're not MAD at you!"

She pulls away. "I just felt a little awkward since, you know, you're dating our best friend. But don't worry, I'm good now! The initial shock is over!"

I stutter. "D-Dating?!" I step back, shocked. "When did--?!"

Bow frowns. "Wait, you're not dating?"

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Adora blushing subtly.

"I-I mean . . ." I blush again, clearing my throat. "Do you want to be my girlfriend . . .?"

Adora looks at me and smirks. "Wow, how much willpower did that take??"

"A-Adora--!!"

She grabs me by the front of my suit and pulls me into a kiss.

I kiss back.

When she pulls away, she smiles softly and looks me in the eyes. "I'd love to date you."

After a moment, I chuckle and wrap my arms around her. "You're such an idiot."

"I know."

Hordak clears his throat, making both Adora and I stiffen.

"Are we going to leave yet, or are you two going to keep staring into each other's eyes?"

We separate, and I frown at him. "Sorry, Adora, this cranky old man is just jealous that he has no one."

Hordak hisses, stepping closer, but Entrapta stands in front of him. "That's not true! He has me!!"

"En . . trapta . . ." Hordak blinks, looking down at her in surprise.

She turns and smiles at him. "Well, yeah! We're lab partners, I care about you!" She grins.

Hordak's eyes lid in disappointment as she looks away. "Yes . . . lab partners . . ."

Meanwhile, Adora nudges me forward, and I groan, taking a deep breath.

"Err, Hordak . . ."

Hordak looks up to see me with my arms crossed, tapping my foot and looking away. "I'm sorry . . . I guess . . ." I glance up at Hordak reluctantly.

Hordak himself sighs. "I, too, apologize for my less-than-appropriate behavior . . ." He then looks down at Entrapta, who grins.

Adora smiles and hugs them both around ournecks. "Great, great, now we're all on the same page!! No-NO more fights!!" She chuckles nervously, snorting as she looks at Hordak, noticing his cold stare. "Err, sorry." She lets go and clears her throat. "We should get this back to the ship." She picks up the plant.

Glimmer nods. "How're we gonna get out though?"

Melog nuzzles into my leg, and I remember. "Melog can teleport us. Everyone grab on."

Everyone does so, and they all teleport away.
