"I have been expecting you Ezra Winchester," said Jacob his mouth dipped into a snarl as he was holding onto Ezra's wrist tightly. The Winchesters tried to distract him long enough for their son to stab him through the heart. But one thing he learned with fighting and attacking, it was to never get distracted easily. Rather, pretend to get distracting then go straight for the strike, like a cobra. "Hunters can be so stupid sometimes," Jacob roughly pushed the young Winchester on the ground at the same time the dagger had clattered to the floor, Jacob kicked the dagger away while Ezra had been trying to reach for it. While Jacob walked toward the young Winchester, Shela and Dean were trying to find away around the magical chains. Of course, picking the lock would not work, so they had to find another way around it. Dean looked for a way out until his eyes stumbled across the key that was hanging on Jacob's belt. If Ezra could get the key to them, then they could escape. Though it was going to be a kind of hard since Jacob would not let his guard down.
"Let my parents go!" Ezra yelled as he tried to get up only to get kicked in the side hard causing him to roll against the wall.
"I don't think so, I want them to see me kill you." Jacob responded.
"I won't let that happen!" Ezra yelled as he got up and tackled Jacob. Jacob stumbled back against Shela and Dean. He growled as his eyes briefly flashed into foxlike irises, his teeth sharpened to a point and his nails grew long.
"I see how it is, Ezra," Jacob said. "If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll have." Jacob attacked Ezra but using the knowledge that he knew, Ezra could defend himself. They distracted Jacob enough that he hadn't noticed Shela, and Dean had got the key to unlock the chains. Using his claws, Jacob tried to slice Ezra in half, but the young Winchester would not let him get close. Ezra rolled on the ground and grabbed the dagger, he stood up ready to fight and defeat his enemy. Shela and Dean had escaped at the same time Ezra and Jacob were fighting long and hard against one another. Jacob fell back exhausted from the battle. He hadn't expected Ezra to fight this long, nor did he know how strong the young man was. Jacob could see the fire in his eyes, since Jacob was a Kitsune he planned to use everything that he knew to manipulate his enemy.
"There's a strong fire in your eyes Ezra," Jacob said. "You really want to use that fury to help save people?"
"That is none of your business," Ezra said as he approached Jacob. Ezra struck Jacob in the face forcing him to bite down on his lip, making blood pool from the wound. "You are trying to get inside my head so I can turn on my family."
"Ezra do you really think that's what I was going to do?" Jacob said in surprise. "I may be a fox but that doesn't mean I'm a trickster."
"In Japanese folklore, Kitsune are known for being tricksters it also translates to Fox spirit." Ezra said making Jacob roll his eyes.
"Wow, awesome," Jacob said sarcastically as Ezra stood over him. "You have done your research." Seeing his chance, Jacob used his legs to trip Ezra. Ezra fell onto his back while Jacob sat on his stomach and placed his hands around the young Winchester's neck. Jacob choked his enemy while Ezra struggled to breathe. However, the minute Shela and Dean got free, Dean grabbed the dagger that was lying on the ground. He had to get the dagger so Ezra could kill Jacob, but it was hard.
"Hey wise guy!" Dean yelled. "Let my son go!" Jacob looked up as his grip loosened. Distracted, Ezra found his opening and kicked Jacob in the stomach; Jacob let go of Ezra's neck as Ezra quickly knocked Jacob right onto his back. "Ezra!" yelled Dean. Ezra looked up. "Catch!" Dean tossed the dagger into the air; it flew toward Ezra as if it were going to strike him in the head. Thankfully, Ezra had caught the handle of the dagger and held it in a stabbing position.
"This is for those innocent people you killed and kidnapping my parents!" Ezra yelled and stabbed the Kitsune through the heart. Jacob gasped realizing that the Winchesters were stronger than he had expected. His eyes switched from foxlike irises to regular human eyes before they rolled back in his head and died. Ezra had been out of breath as he got up from the corpse. He had killed no one before, and this was the first time he had done that. He wondered if his father had ever felt that way when he had his first kill same with his mother. Ezra's parents approached their son as Dean placed a hand on Ezra's shoulder.
"Thank you son," Dean said. "You saved us and killed your first enemy." Ezra looked at his father and quickly turned to leave the building. Obviously, Ezra was not used to this and worried that he might turn into some kind of monster. Dean looked between his wife and his son retreating.
"Go talk to him," Shela said. "I'll burn the body." Dean nodded and took off after Ezra.
