After discussing quite a bit about our messed up life I received a call from Ryder.

Hi Ry! How are ya?

Alive luckily, I'm in your living room and there's nobody home. Seriously it's a ghost town in here.

Not so different from when my parents are there anyway. Just wait a few and I'd be there in no time.

Can't wait to see you Krissy.

Right back at'cha Ry. Bye!

I ended the phone and looked at Aubrey who was looking at me with the weirdest look ever.

"That's how you talk with your boyfriend? You sound more like friends then friends." She said finishing the last of her fro-yo and throwing it in the can.

"Wha--? We um, talk more lovey dovey when we're alone thank you very much. We're not into the whole... PDA." I threw my cup out walking out the store.

"PDA?" She asked trying to match my speed.

"Yes PDA, Public Display of Affection."

"Ahhhh sure..." I rolled my eyes at her comment.

"So do you want to see you're new home or not?"

"Temporary home and sure." I took a hold of her wrist. She looked at me in surprise.

"Well lets go then!" I dragged her behind me as I broke into a run.

Once we finally made it Aubrey looked like she was literally about to die by the sight and then run.

"Don't worry, We don't bite." I took out my keys and unlocked the door.
Stepping aside I let her cautiously walk into the house.

Her eyes darted back and forth throughout the house. She seemed  like a lost puppy experiencing walking for the first time.

"Uhhh, you okay," I asked her before locking the door behind me.

"This place is huge, and shiny, and sparkly."

"So basically expensive."

"Mmmhhmmm." She said still marveling everything. I gave her a slight shake of the head. Living here since I was a baby made me think of this house as nothing but a big place with empty space.

But I can't totally shut down this house, I've had a lot of memories from my young days in here. Teen years? Not so much.

"Krissy?" The voice of none other then my Ryder echoed through the empty house.

"Ah! Ryder!" I exclaimed.

I did a little jog to the living room where he just stood up from sitting on the couch.

I jumped into his arms, giving him a small peck on his lips.
