Chapter 7: Assassin

Upon the Sun rises to the sky a figure of a Young Man can be seen walking in the halls towards a Room. Upon opening can be seen a Middle-aged man sitting in his chair. The Young Man slowly sat down and gaze the Man in a White snowy robes.

"Why did you called me here early in the morning A-die?" The Young man in a Black and Red Robes asked, Wei Ying, Courtesy: Wuxian.

"I have some matters to discuss with you A-xian" The middle-aged man replied, Qingheng-jun.

"Speak"

"We Lans are having a problem in the situation of the Caiyi Town" Qingheng-jun straightly talked the topic.

Wei Wuxian wasn't that shocked, "Is this about the Water ghouls?" He asked.

Qingheng-jun nodded, "Yes" he confirmed, "I was wondering if you can help us" He said.

Wei Wuxian smiled, "Why not? I was getting bored here" he replied.

Qingheng-jun smiled, "A-zhan and A-huan will also join together with some Lan disciples"

"Can I let Jiang Cheng join? And maybe let Nie Huaisang join too but I won't let him fight" Wei Wuxian asked.

"Do as you please" Qingheng-jun replied.

Wei Wuxian smiled, "Thank you" he stood up and bowed before he leave.

As Wei Wuxian leave and closes the door he proceed to walk in the usual spot where he and the boys always go.

There were no classes for a week since Lan Qiren has business to do and Qingheng-jun also receive back the title of Sect Leader Lan while Zewu-jun can no longer handle some risky affairs.

Wei Wuxian sat on a tree branch as he waited for the boys to come, it was only five-thirty.

He sighed, "Being an Immortal sure is boring" he laid down to the branch.

A golden smoke surrounds Wei Wuxian revealing a Lad which wore Red and Black robes but has a golden boots, Suibian.

"Master I have came back to report" he cupped his hands and bowed to his Superior.

Wei Wuxian closes his eyes, "Speak" as he raised his hand to stop the bow.

Suibian put down his hands, straightly his body and began to report, "As Master's orders, I have investigated the issue of Caiyi Town, It has seems that some water ghouls began to attack the citizens who were nearby the waters, it has also seems that a Water borne Abyss were to be formed but as Master know...

The Town folks surely know how to swim since they are surrounded of Lakes and rivers meaning that if a Water borne Abyss were to be formed it has need for a full Ship reck to be it"

Wei Wuxian opened his eyes and snickered, "Oh?" He said with an amused face, "It is true that If a Water Borne Abyss were to be formed it has to need to be a full ship reck to consume of the Resentful energy... Saying that someone has washed it away and turned the responsibility to the Lans" he lazily swayed his hands,

"Now tell me... Which f***ing Sect has the audacity to put this responsibility to the Lans" Wei Wuxian said but this time he has an annoyed face as if someone just crossed to his territory.

"Reporting, It has said that the Wens has encountered it lately and told that it has been exterminated at night by cause of their Second Young Master Wen, Wen Chao" Suibian dared not say anything that make his master unsatisfied since he rarely see him being mad or annoyed... Not like the one that happened in the past.

Wei Wuxian raised his brow, "Wen Chao? You mean the greasy hair dude?" Wei Wuxian laughed hysterically, "A mere useless dude has the guts to exterminate the water ghouls? Let alone a Water borne abyss? It's clearly that he only sent them away instead of using the 'exterminate' word" he continued laughing,

"If it waren't for their Founder, Wen Mao... I mean Uncle Wen I would've turned their Sect to oblivious by now for their Evil deeds... They better be prepared for trespassing my territory for I have something more Surprising toys for them" Wei Wuxian smirked with his darked gaze can be seen.

Suibian can only smile as he gulped and a sweat in his forehead for the Wens since he remembered what his master did when he was annoyed or mad, 'May you rest in internal crisis, Dear Wens welp it was also some of your fault' he can only prayed.

With that Suibian turned to a Golden smoke and disappeared forming a sword, the sword float and Wei Wuxian was able to grabbed it in ease. He placed his sword to his left waist and he started to smile... It was a... Wicked smile.

"Aiyoooo what shall I punish those Wens? Should I just lure some Fierce corpses right in the main building? Or should I just exterminate the pests? But if I do that I might get scolded by A-niang and might never be go down the mountain..." Wei Wuxian placed his hand to his chin and finally a light bulb shone, "Or maybe I'll just use that" He smirked widely.

Wei Wuxian looked up the sky to check what was the time, and it was already six in the morning. He stood up and brush off some dirt, he yawned a bit before a 'twung' was heard behind him.

His Sword was behind him protecting him and also an unknown dagger who was blocked by his sword before it pierce it's target's back. He looked back unsurprised as if he already know that someone was already targeting him.

It was a Black figure can be seen in the shadows wearing nothing but Black, bleeding in such state, "Tch!" was the words he heard. The assassin was bleeding so much in the point of dying and that it was useless to fight it for it will die sooner or later.

Wei Wuxian gazed the badly wounded Assassin who's in the verge of death laying down in the bottom of the tree, "Ara ara it seems a rat has crawled into my domain" he said as he slowly walked towards the assassin.

When he got close enough the assassin grab his lower garment, the assassin forced himself to talk, "P...please... I'..m beg..ging you... I must no..t ..be ...ca..pture..d by th...em I.. ha..ve someo..ne to... wh..o's wai..ting..for..m——" the assassin lost consciousness, though the assassin didn't finish the sentence, Wei Wuxian clearly know what he said.

He kneelt, "Aiyoo so you were being chased after yet someone has been waiting for your return... I'll consider this once since this is an unexpected event" he grabbed the assassin's body and it was light so he proceed to place the body behind his back.

He heard some fast foot steps leaping to tree to tree, "Well aren't they fast?" He softly yawned, "Hold on tight" with those sentences Wei Wuxian immediately leaped to the air and flied towards to the deep mountain.

The people who was chasing the assassin stopped at the scene that has blood all over it, they examined the area and found no traces it's as if the one their chasing was gone in thin air. They knew that they failed and returned back.

Wei Wuxian on the other hand found a cave where he placed the body, the assassin's face was priceless it was the look of someone just died multiple times, "I hope he's not dead yet" he murmured as he smiled weirdly since it'll be troublesome to take care the body. So he began to heal him
