Chapter 10: Caiyi Town

They've finally arrived at Caiyi Town after that Drama that Wei Wuxian and Chuan Sanren had made.

Leaves drop from the trees falling into the water, as boatmen sail their boats across the Biling Lake, the wind whistles through the sky, as the citizens sell their goods.

"Caiyi Town truly lives up to it's reputation!" Nie Huaisang said standing on to his boat while Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng are sitting on a bench where the Ice Cream stands are.

"Nwt baht" Wei Wuxian said with his mouth full.

"No ones gonna take your Ice cream away, what's the rush?" Jiang Cheng said, "Besides don't speak with your mouth full" he continued.

"Puwahhh!" Wei Wuxian stretches his arms, "Delicious! I heard you have a sister, why not bring her this?" He said.

Jiang Cheng smiled, "Why not?"

Wei Wuxian paused a bit, "Hm... How come you only smile like that when I mentioned your sister, while you have that stoic face to me, Sigh, you're breaking your Shixiong's heart" he dramatically said, wiping tears across his eyes.

But what he got was a fierce glare, "When did you become my Shixiong?!" Jiang Cheng said loudly.

Not good, As Wei Wuxian thinking of some sort of excuse, he thought of someone might work. He grinned.

"Oh look! It's Zewu-jun!" He pointed behind him.

Jiang Cheng flinched and subconsciously looked back, only seeing no Zewu-jun. 

He went furious and turned his head in front, seeing no one.

.Wei Wuxian has fled away from the scene.

"......"

He heard laughter behind him and checked, he saw Wei Wuxian running towards a boat while laughing his heart off.

He wondered when did he disappear when he was in front of him.

However that didn't stop Jiang Cheng, His expression darkened and he frowned his brows, "WEI WUXIAN!" He shouted but didn't let Wei Wuxian stop.

As he was about to catch up, Wei Wuxian was already on a boat, sailing away.

Wei Wuxian waved his hand, "Ayooo, ChengCheng I didn't you had that kind of thing for Zewu-jun" he raised his brow while he grinned.

"You!—Just you wait!" Jiang Cheng shouted.

Then again, Wei Wuxian burst on laughing, his arms on his stomach while tears are on his eyes.

However, that's isn't the reason why he hopped on the boat, in fact, it was because he smelled rice wine which he is now looking for it.

"~Young Master what's the rush~" a young maiden said in Gusu Lan dialect.

Wei Wuxian looked at the direction, "~Oh I'm looking for something!~" Wei Wuxian answered in return

The maiden chuckled, "~Then please do taste on one of my loquats!~" she said as she smiles. 

Wei Wuxian smiled back, "~Then I'll taste them later!~" He said.

He then looked around for the Rice Wine but then he accidentally bumped into someone's boat.

Wei Wuxian was about to say sorry but then he saw an image of a, 'Peacock...' he thought for a moment. 

His wine was all over his face having an angry expression, for split second he thought of an image of a Peacock whose feathers were plucked.

"I'm sorry for bumping into yours Jin-gongzi" he bowed lightly, well not really.

Jin Zixuan then grabs a handkerchief from one of his men(man), "Wei Wuxian, was that intentional" Jin Zixuan said, "This is a wide river yet you're still able to bump on mine!" He said, standing up.

"I wasn't paying attention," Wei Wuxian said "I'll give you Rice Wine if you want" he said again, with an 'As if' in secret.

"No need" he answered, he used the handkerchief to wipe the Wine that got splashed into his face.

"Well then if there's nothing then..." Wei Wuxian said turning his back

"Just make sure a mere Rogue Cultivation yourself stay away from me, if so make the Jiang Clan of Yunmeng stays away from me too" He said.

After hearing that Wei Wuxian froze from the spot, his face darkens, his brows frowning. Just what on earth does this Idiot intend to do.

'Does he wants a fight? Then I shall bring him war'

Insulting the Jiang Clan right in front of him, especially when he himself is already engaged with the Daughter of Jiang Fengmian and Yu Ziyuan. What a joke.

If he can talk back with the fake Sanren, what's the matter of talking back to a mere Young Master that has yet to be titled as Sect Leader.

He clenches his fists and said "I think it would be best to think twice, Jin-gongzi, before talking like that Jin  Jiang Clan of Yunmeng right in front of me" Wei Wuxian said,

Releasing a bit of Resentful energy making the water splash as our boat began to shake.

Jin Zixuan flinched as soon he suddenly felt the Resentful energy, it made his knees tremble since he was close to the main source(Wei Wuxian)

His knees gave up falling into his knees.

Wei Wuxian then seemed to be satisfied but still, he didn't let the Resentful energy retreat, "Who knows what kind of unexpected events might happen" he said glaring at him with a little smile.

Jin Zixuan glared, "Wei Wuxian! Are you the one's doing this?!" He said loudly.

Well of course only a fool would answer right, so he said, "Who knows?" He shrugs.

That's when Wei Wuxian sense someone rowing to them, it was Nie Huaisang.

His boat was in front of his and Jin Zixuan and said "W-Wei-xiong what's that dark smoke?!" Nie Huaisang said while his voice was trembling.

Wei Wuxian sighed and then he calmed down, letting the Resentful energy withdraw, they were finally able to breathe.

"Just don't overstep your boundaries Jin Zixuan" Wei Wuxian warned him with a glare, with politeness he smiled.

Jin Zixuan then stood up from the spot but then their boats began to shake.

Jin Zuxuan looked furious at Wei Wuxian and yelled "Wei Wuxian are you still not done?!"

Wei Wuxian looked calmly at Jin Zixuan and said "It's wasn't me this time" he said as our boats began to shake even more than the previous one making us the two of them unstable.

"Something isn't right" Jin Zixun said as he tries to stabilize himself.

Wei Wuxian then let out a sigh, "Oh crap, did the water ghouls got attracted to the Resentful energy? Seems like it" he thought.

But oh well, he is here to exterminate it so might as well finish it quickly.

Oh, Imma change Wei Wuxian, let's not make him too OP.

In the next chapter which is not a chapter, I'll charge him with a more descriptive.
