You excuse yourself from the crowd so that the tears welled up in your eyes could finally have a let out. With your heart beating faster you run to the washroom to mourn for the unrequited love you buried inside you for the past six years, feeling your veins strangling into tight knots that you almost couldn't breathe. You look into the mirror, touching your face and then you try to put on a faint smile. You tried to calm yourself down, patting yourself, saying it wasn't a big deal, but your heart knew better.
However, this you were sure about, that you could never stay with Tessa, watching the guy you liked for so many years, slowly fall in love with her.
You had to excuse yourself from their lives as well, you had to run, run away and get a fresh start. But you knew how lame your thought was. To run away from life is something everyone feels at times, most of the times, and yet that changes nothing for people like you, you had neither money nor a situation at your home to do so.
Through your gritted teeth you mumbled to yourself "Get a fucking grip y/n, he was never yours to lose, so stop acting like he was" and thus the bitch inside you took you over, and you held your head high and smirked looking into the mirror just before swallowing the tear that was about to run free from your eyes.
And then you heard a ping, which you regretted opening.

You heavily sighed feeling horrible and slightly peeped out of the washroom tiptoeing to the classroom so that you can pick your bag up and leave the place unnoticed. Reaching your class safe from everyone else trying to get hold of you, you take your bag when you hear someone clear their throat from behind you.
You slowly turn around with your pulse quickening because more than anything you knew how much you had adored that voice and how even the clearing of his throat made you blush in the past.
'Uh- hey, uhm, Taehyung, what are you d-doing here?' You succeeded in forming a full sentence without going blank or crying or even fainting.
'Uhm, so I came in to meet Tessa and saw you here, anyway now that you're here, I should uhm-' he got interrupted by his friends at the door shouting his name with Tessa's and whatnot.
'Maybe I'll text you or something, gotta go' he hurried to them holding them by their neck and pushing them forward. You could still hear the laughing and howling echoing through the corridors. And he left, with you being insignificant and unnoticed like ever. Thanks to Tessa he at least acknowledged you today.
However, slowly, everything became silent and all you could feel was your heart beating rapidly and your legs getting weak, you at the brim of crying again. Why does he wanna make it even harder for me? And what was he starting to say, so he still has my number? And how the fuck did I look! god -_-
'Fuck you y/n!It's Tessa. He's Tessa's boyfriend. Now get your ass out of here asap!' saying that to yourself you hurried your way home.
