Chapter 7: Chaos Ensues

3rd POV

A few months have passed since Zeno met his two other co-members of Holo: Divers. A lot has happened in those months.

First off, Holo: Divers was officially announced by Cover and gained a lot of popularity since then.

Many were excited for the upcoming debut especially when they saw the trailer for the three members of Holo: Divers.

Zeno, in particular, was getting a lot of attention due to him already being known due to his past as Zinogre in GGO, a lot has speculated that he was one of the member's shadows shown on the trailer.

A fan even came up with three words that symbolize all three of them just from the trailer alone.

Zeno got Instinct.

Kaito got Power.

Enma got Knowledge.

Ever since then, fans have been arguing which is more superior of the three. Of course, Zeno and the others didn't care about such trivial things.

During these past few months, Zeno has guided Kaito and Enma through all sorts of things.

From getting familiar with modern tech, especially for Enma, to finding out what genre of games they play well.

Enma was unsurprisingly good at puzzle games, quizzes, and most games that need technical and logical thinking.

Kaito on the other hand was more surprising due to his expertise in combat type of games since his stature was rather thin and he looked like he wouldn't hurt a soul.

Enma and Zeno complained a lot since Kaito will just keep on using that one character with too much damage in a fighting game and decimated the two of them.

Another thing that happened over the past months was Aqua unceremoniously getting entitled with Zeno's Younger Sister in the HQ.

This is due to Zeno always borrowing(kidnapping) Aqua away every time they meet and spoiling her with all sorts of things.

Aqua gradually got used to it and calls him Big Brother by now.

Then there was Enma and Amelia's first meet-up. Yagoo was still mad about how those two nearly blew up one floor of the HQ just because they got drunk too much.

It was also Zeno's first time seeing the HoloMyth branch. Ina unsurprisingly latched to her father, Kaito. While Calli, Kiara, and Gura spent most of their time getting familiar with Zeno.

They even played Uno with him. Although that also didn't end well due to Zeno somehow winning 3 out of 5 matches they did.

Other than ensuing chaos in the HQ and giving headaches for Yagoo. Most of the Holo: Divers became busy with promoting themselves through various ways.

Kaito was popular with his artistic talents and was acknowledged as one of Cover's excellent artists. What can you expect from the guy who raised Ina?

Enma was famous or rather infamous for his fics. He has good ideas, but his writing has left a lot of authors pulling their hair out of anger due to how horrible it was.

Zeno on the other hand was more famous from all the "leaked" song covers he has done in the studio. Many have been captured by his deep and soothing voice.

It didn't take long before it was only a week before their debuts. Kaito was more relaxed than the other two. While Enma and Zeno cannot exactly be called nervous as Enma was giddy in excitement while Zeno could hardly care as all he wanted was to jump right in and start streaming.

Another thing to note was the growing tense atmosphere between Botan, Lamy, and Zeno.

Zeno for his part was clueless about it, while Botan was amused by Lamy's complaints about Zeno stealing Botan away from her.

This kind of situation continued to persist as Zeno continued to remain ignorant.

This resulted in Lamy somehow always finding a reason to try and bash Zeno's head in with an empty sake bottle.

Comical as it was, Zeno couldn't afford to distract himself any longer as he was the first member of the Holo: Divers that will be debuting.

"Hey Zeno, whatchu gonna do in your debut?" Enma asked he sat on one of the chairs inside the lounge.

Off to the side, Kaito was painting something on an empty canvas. Curious about the conversation, he leaned in a little to listen.

Meanwhile, Zeno stopped patting Aqua's head for a second to which she pouted slightly and pinched his side. He continued giving her head pats and then answered Enma.

"That's for me to know and the readers and you to find out." Zeno sagely replied while looking somewhere far off.

"Readers?" Aqua asked in confusion.

"Alright man, keep your secrets, though I'm curious. We aren't exactly going to stream normally like they do no?" Enma shrugged at Zeno's response while ignoring the reader part. He then asked about the way they will stream.

That got Zeno thinking as the usual way Vtubers stream is through a Live 2D Avatar. The members of the Holo: Divers, however, are different in that regard.

The reason for here was explained just a day before, according to Hololive. The way Holo: Divers will be streaming their streams is quite unique.

Holo: Divers will first and foremost, are a different type of Vtubers. They are what you call Diver Idols. A type of idol that was only introduced about two years ago.

The difference between Diver Idols and typical Idols was that they dive into the world of Virtual Reality.

They dive into games and worlds that are completely virtual and will require a 3D avatar to work. There, they will either stream games in First Perspective or there was an option for a 3rd perspective all-around floating camera that the viewers can select to manipulate 360 around the avatar or idol.

This revolutionized the way streaming was done over Virtual Reality. As such, Diver Idols were born.

"We'll find out eventually after we debut since we will be debuting normally like everyone else." Enma nodded at Zeno's word.

"I'm looking forward to your debut Zeno-nii." Aqua said shyly.

Zeno smiled warmly and continued giving Aqua head pats. Enma looked at this show of sibling-like affection and turned to Kaito.

"They really look like a pair of brother and sister huh."

Kaito nodded at that and settled down his brush. Enma got curious and stood up from the chair and approached Kaito.

"Huh, now I know why you are so rich. Just this painting alone would probably fetch a high price."

Apparently, Kaito was painting Zeno and Aqua's little moment just now. It captured the soft and fond smile on Zeno's usually cold face as he sat with Aqua on his lap while gently acting her head, while Aqua let out a small and content smile as she leaned into Zeno's touch.

It was a heartwarming scene, one that Enma was sure that a lot of their fans will buy regardless of the price.

"Well, who knew Zeno can be this endearing? Most of the time, he is only like that to Fubuki-senpai and Botan-senpai." Enma snickered.

"Hey Enma, don't you find it weird to call people who are much more younger than you as Senpai? You are what? Thousands of years old or something?" Kaito asked.

Enma gasped and stared at Kaito in an exaggerated look of hurt.

"How dare you casually say my age, you know how the saying goes, " One should never reveal a man's age"." Kaito sweatdropped and looked away.

'I'm pretty sure that quote is about a woman's age and not a man's age.'

Kaito as he tuned out Enma's endless tirade of why should he not mention Enma's age casually. Rather, Kaito focused on Zeno and Aqua.

'Such a lovable sibling-like pair. I hope that you two will stay that way until the end.'
