Chanyeol's POV

"AAAHHH " , She screamed and the files fall on ground

My heart started to skip fast when I saw a small droplet in the corner of her closed eyes and she was holding her left wrist .

"What happened?" My hand automatically went to reach her arm but she flinched

"Nothing , just a muscle tanse" , and collected the files from the ground but her hand is still shaking .

"Are you sure?" But I'm not sure why I feel so concerned . Chanyeol stick to your promise boy . You can't waver over a girl you just met . More than that , you already pulled her in danger . Now don't try to tie her with you

"Yess boss" ,She nodded with full energy .

Then we went back to office .

It's been four weeks Hae In started to work here .

One thing I must tell , she is really intelligent and easy going with others . She handled my schedule , secretly took out every information files that came with company raw materials on my behalf . Even she managed to come up with good excuses whenever I sneak out from the office to execute my secret duties . Though I don't know what excuse she gave .

She have a bright personality that lightens up my mode whenever I see or talk to her . I really like to nag her . I like the puppy face she makes when fakely scold her . But strangely she becomes quite and talk less around me . It feels bad sometimes , maybe my behavior is making her be uncomfortable or she is trying to keep her distance from me to be less feared about her security .

I don't know why but still don't like the fact that Kai kept hitting on her .

More I look at her , the more she resembles that person I used to love . But one thing that doesn't match is her biodata . If she was that person , she would have told me at first place .

What am I thinking .. she maybe having a new life rn . I don't know how she looks like now , how much she grown up . Even if we cross path , even if she remembers me , she won't look at me . I'm sure she still hates me after what I did ...

8 years back.....

"Stop Chan , I said Stop " , a hand grabbed my wrist and she stood infront of me . Her eyes are full of tears . I hate this the most . I Hate to see her crying but today I caused her to do so . But I don't have any other way around to protect her after I'm gone .

"What do you mean by we are done ? Hu!! is it that easy for you to end this all , tell me what's the problem . I'll try to fix it " , her voice is shaking . She is coming nearer . My thoughts are blurry that I couldn't react properly . The only one though that occupied me . I have to make her hate me .

She stopped an inch apart from me and cupped my cheeks before tiptoeing . Our lips collided . I couldn't help but melt under her touch .
She is the last one whom I can relay in this world after my mom . This girl is my only home and I'm gonna leave this home .

Her lips brushing over mine and it's already wet with salty droplets . She really knows how to make me loose my mind . Don't do this Hae Inaa . I won't be able to hurt you more .

I pushed her away with all my remaining strength and yelled though my heart is ripping apart ,"Don't you have any common sense ? I said I don't like you anymore . I don't want to waste my life over a good for Nothing . You understood ? Now please let me go " , I didn't wait for a second to walk pass her . I literally ran .
