Lethal Contract [Chanyeol FF]

32 : Christmas date

"Fuck !! I'm late. Excuse me ", Hae-In kept running excusing the huge crowd  .

The street was decorated with Christmas lights , Santa dolls outside the stores , people selling and buying Christmas goodies joyously . And here Hae-In is struggling to avoid trembling in between thousands of foot .

She had to stay back because of the error johnny made . Instead of forcing him and ten to stay late for the blunder they made she let them go out . Because it's Christmas .

But what about her ? Well she can manage . Atleast she thought .

Now here she is totally 45 mins late and it's snowing . Chanyeol must be waiting infront of the big Christmas tree infront of N Seoul tower .

She averted her gaze to look at wristwatch while running and bumped with someone .

"Oh my god I'm sorry ", she quickly crouched down to help the elderly person that fell on ground . With her help he stood back while brushing of the snow .

With the dark shade overcoat , gray Fedora cap , silver round frame spectacles on nose and a benign Smile on his thin lips , he looked noble in Hae-In's eyes .

Hae-In bowed 90° to portray her sincere apology ,"I'm really sorry Sir "

The elderly person flashed a smile . His eyes slightly closed in process ,"It's ok dear . But are you ok ? You just bumped with this heavyweight old man ".

Hae-In shook her hands on air with a awkward smile ,"No no I'm all right . Sorry I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings ".

She found him ruffling in his coat pocket , maybe searching for something . Then he took his hand out and outstretched it infront of her , fingers rolled into a fist .

Her frown was saying that she didn't get what his gesture meant so he asked ,"Take this ".

Uplifting her palm she received two candies .

"one is for being kind and honest , another for being pretty . Merry Christmas dear "

Strangely she had a feeling of being in teens . She always liked being a baby . Candies maybe too much for an 27 years old lady but who cares . What matters is , someone is sharing love and happiness with her which she never received until a year ego .

The curse of her life started to break the moment she entered into the interview room and stood infront of Chanyeol .

She started to see a little bit happy glitters in darkness . Maybe the boy who is waiting for her , is the Lucky charm of her life .

"Don't you like candies ?" Hae-In hummed with wide eyes to see the wrinkle covered eyes .

She was wandering back in her memories looking at those sweets .

"Aneyo ( no ) , I love candies ", she shoved the sweets into her jacket's pocket with a big smile . "Thank you Candy Ajhussi (uncle / elderly person) . Merry Christmas "

"Candy Ajhussi ?" He chuckled a bit nodding his head ,"Nice choice of name Pretty lady " .

They both chuckled on their nicknames . Two people who didn't know eachother a minute ago , is now talking like they know from ages .

"I assume you were in hurry , weren't you ?"

Realisation hit hard . Chanyeol is waiting .

She bite her tongue ,"Oh ! I have to go . It was nice meeting you "

She walked out in hurry .
