1959
The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet for a warm, summer evening. Making the gentle breeze and birds chirping, be the only source of sound.
You sat on the front step of the old porch, the faded blue paint on it chipping away with every second that went by. While you waited for the boy of your dreams, that everyone said was no good. But you never listened to that though, because you never cared about the others thoughts on Chris Chambers.
Nobody believed the fact that Chris treated you like royalty. Instead they believed that he was some kind of villain, because of the bad reputation that he got granted with.
"You ready, babe?" a familiar voice asked, bringing you out of your thoughts to see Chris waiting a few steps from you.
"Yeah I am" you smiled, and stood up to walk over to your boyfriend, pecking his lips with your own.
"Can I get a better kiss then that?" Chris wondered playfully, and wrapped an arm around your waist, making you blush and rest your head on his shoulder.
"Maybe later, Chambers" you giggled, as you both began walking along the sidewalks of Castle Rock.
"I was thinking we could go see a movie at the drive-in, is that alright?" He asked, and pulled your body closer to his.
You'd love to see a movie. Afterall that meant you and Chris would have some alone time with eachother.
Your stomach began to fill with butterflies, and your cheeks turned crimson, at the intruding thought of straddling Chris. His lips attached to yours, as you two made out on one of those cheap fold-out chairs; which the drive-in supplied for people who didn't have a car.
"Sure, that sounds great" you gave Chris a smile, before continuing to walk through the town, his arm around your waist and a proud smile on his face.
_____________
It was dark by the time you and Chris had gotten two good spots, along with some popcorn and a soda, that you shared.
You and Chris had decided on a movie that was suppose to be a comedy too, but so far it had been a complete bummer. Which left you a bit bored, as you twirled a strand of your hair, and kept stealing glances at Chris, who eventually caught you staring.
"You bored?" He asked quietly.
You sighed, before giving small smile "Just a bit, this movie isn't what we thought it was gonna be"
"I know" Chris said, a mischievous smirk tugging on the corners of his lips, which you noticed and returned the gesture. You knew what was going to happen, and so did Chris.
"You thinking what I'm thinking, babe?"
You bit your bottom lip and nodded, before feeling Chris' warm hands pull you onto his lap, making you automatically straddle him, while connecting your lips with his.
Chris immediately kissed back, and pulled you closer, if that was even possible. His touch was causing waves of goosebumps to cover your delicate skin, as he deepened the kiss, which made your heart skip beats.
You couldn't contain this overwhelming feeling of adoration and love that you felt for Chris Chambers anymore, and you knew you just had to confess it.
"Chris...." you pulled away abruptly, making Chris groan at the feeling of your lips no longer being on his.
"What's up, babe?" He finally asked
"I-I love you..so much"
The expression on Chris' face changed drastically, and he scanned your face for any sign that you might've been lying to him, but you weren't. You knew it was because nobody had ever loved him, and that was the sad truth.
He didn't even have to think twice before answering " I love you so much too, y/n"
With that, he kissed you again, only this time it was more passionate, and full of the pure love you shared with eachother.
Just then the chair that you two were sitting on broke, due to it being cheap plastic, and both of you fell onto the rough pavement underneath.
It went silent for a moment or two, before Chris started laughing which made you do the same. Everyone else around watched you both in annoyance, as you guys continued to roll around in your fit of laughter.
"Do you two mind?!" An elderly woman asked rudely, making you and Chris stop laughing and get up off the ground.
"You two are absolutely disrespectful!" A middle aged man scolded, which made you and Chris roll your eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, we get it, dad" Chris responded sarcastically, which earned some more giggles from you, until Chris wrapped his arm around your waist.
"Let's get outta here, babe" Chris grinned, and began walking away, with you next to him of course.
You two ended up leaving the drive-in, and stopped by Blue Point Diner on your way back into town, enjoying a few milkshakes there, before Chris took you back home.
"That has got to be one of the most eventful dates we've ever been on, Chambers" you laughed, as you stood on your porch step.
"You said it, but who knows, maybe they'll get even more eventful?" Chris chuckled
"Yeah maybe, I had a really good time though" you smiled
"Me too, babe. Now you better get inside before your folks flip"
You looked behind you to see all the lights were on in the house, and your parents sitting in the living room.
"I guess I better" you sighed, smoothing your skirt a bit, before placing a long peck on Chris' lips.
"I love you, Chambers" you pulled away, and blushed again.
"I love you too, Y/l/n" He grinned once more, and turned back around, starting to head home by himself. Thinking about everything that had happend that night, and how much he really loved you.
