Biggest Mistake

Chapter Six

I formulate my thoughts. But I don't speak out.

Harry nudges me again and says,"You as well as I very well know that you cannot keep anything that is going on in your head from me."

He pulls me into a hug and prods me to speak out.

I give out a sigh and begin to speak.

"I was thinking of hiding Bloom in my basement. Mum and Dad are barely ever at home and even if they are, they never go down there. Thankfully the walls are pretty much soundproof. So even if she barks or anything, they won't notice it. The moment they step out of the house, I will go and bring her out from there.I all feed her and bathe her. I will take complete care of her.

"Please Harry, don't make me give her up to the animal shelter. Please don't."

"You know how lonely I feel in my home. No one is ever around.", I add in a meek voice.

He took all this in but remained silent. I could sense him contemplating in his mind. Finally,after a minute or so of silence, he opens his mouth.

"Em.. You alwaysput me in these sort of dilemmas. Let me just tell you in the beginning that I have got a gut feeling that this isn't going to turn out very well. But for your sake, I won't make you give her up. You can keep her.", he says with a goofy grin plastered on his face.

I give out a squeal of joy and lunge forward to hug him.
