Today was another day of training, blood, sweat, and tears. I decided to start keeping a journal For Nezuko. I started by defending the mountain again today. I plan on working my ass off to make it to the final selection, not only to impress Master Urokodaki and Nezuko but M/n as well. I just feel like as time went on I start to see him as kinda an older brother type that you would go to if you need anything, while Master Urokodaki almost reminds me of a fatherly figure.

Day by day as time went on I started to memorize all of the traps, due to me becoming stronger. And because of this, I have become better at smelling and memorizing certain scents, especially M/n. At this point, I have to memorize his scent. One time I didn't smell him and he snuck up behind me and I was terrified, his shadow was massive compared to mine.
(Mini flashback)
I was casually peeling potatoes because M/n was making stew tonight and need them peeled. I was doing just fine until I accidentally cut my finger. It wasn't bad just a 'baby cut'. I knew I didn't have to worry about Nezuko because she was of course asleep I looked around for M/n, making sure he didn't get a whiff of the blood. I let out a sigh of relief when I didn't see him…that is until a large shadow covered the entirety of my body.
M/n: What's this I smell Tanjiro, smells delicious...
Tanjiro: W-well I cut my finger a little no big deal. * I started to sweat a little bit when you started to lick your lips hungrily at the sight of my blood 'baby cut'*
M/n: Oh? Well, let me clean it up. It won't hurt……for me.
And with that M/n lunged at my bloody hand as I panicked seeing his sharp canine-like teeth in his mouth.
I thought my hand was going to get a bit off and my sword days were over before they could even begin, that is until…
Urokodaki: BAD M/N!! BAD!!
*squirts M/n with a bottle filled with plain water and wisteria flower oil*
(End of mini flashback)
(After Tanjiro's journal entries about going through a living hell involving going up and down the mountain and his sword)
Today I was learning Total Concentration Breathing and the 10 breathing forms of water.
Tanjiro: * tries it perfect breathing*
Urokodaki: *jabs fist into Tanjiros stomach and knocks the wind out of him*
Tanjiro: ACK!?!?
*chokes on lack of oxygen*
{Meanwhile}
M/n: *stands in perfect breathing form, too afraid to move after seeing Tanjiro get the air knocked out of his body*
M/n💭: 😰😦 *sweating intensifies as Master Urokodaki walks over to me* please have mercy on thy soul.
*Urokodaki pretends like he's going to strike him mildly amused at how you are just a large, tall (intimidating) teddy bear.*
*Urokodaki walks away smirking under his mask as M/n lets out the air he didn't know he was holding, meanwhile 'Lil bro Tanjiro ' as M/n calls him, was gasping for literal air.

M/N pov

Due to Tanjiro and you found through hell, you decided to train with him in subjects that he lacked, and in return, he helped you in the very few subjects that you weren't good at. It was like your brother bonding time alone after hours. It was fun and all but I think Tanjiro might like it a little too much. He would always sit very close to you and you usually don't mind it that is until his and my shadow were practically one together. And to be honest it not only freaking me out but it was also unsettling because of the way he acted when we mentioned the closeness.

M/n: Ototo san (it means little brother) are you feeling ok you're close?
Tanjiro: What do you mean? I just wanna spend time with you! And you alone without master is there something wrong with that.😤
M/n: Well no not really you're just acting off-
Tanjiro: I AM NOT 'OFF' I AM FINE YOUR THE ONE ACTING WEIRD!
(and just like that his attitude change just like that)
Tanjiro: B-brother do you not like me🥺 *dramatic sniffle* you do hate me don't you! Fine then!
M/n: Tanjiro, you know this not what I meant I'm not mad at you.
*you give him a small comforting hug. Except he DOES.NOT.LET.GO*

(I kept hugging M/n as I didn't wanna let go)
Tanjiro💭: he smells so good!~ Brother smells like fresh wood and rose oil! I wanna stay like this but I don't want him to be uncomfortable he was already on to me before I had to bust out the tears. I should be more cautious about how I show affection to my new big brother from now on!
( I sadly break off the long-lasting hug plus I say my Goodnights and goodbyes and head to bed as I leave M/n to his nightly demon activities.
Tanjiro: *sigh* Good night M/n.😴
