Frisk
I stayed with mom for the last few days and we were even their for his dusting ceremony. We all got a small vial of his dust and the rest was spread in Waterfall, his favorite place other than Grillby's and his home. Almost everybody's mood was melancholy and downright sad. Almost. While Undyne did seem sad, she was more tense, on guard. He gaze kept flicking to a monster in armor I'd never met before while also sticking close to Papy and hugging Al. That's what had me confused. I'd met EVERY monster in the Underground. Even the monster behind the grey door. This is my first time seeing him though and I wondered if he was the monster that Undyne spoke of and if he had anything to do with Sans's death. I decided to talk to Grillby since he knew everybody. He was talking to mom. Most likely about Sans. "My condolences Grillby.." He looked down at me, lava like tears brimming his eyes. "Thank you Frisk.. What can I do for you?" Good old Grillby. Always straight to the point. "Do you know the guy in the armor?" I asked. "Hm.. Not really.. From what I gather he's a monster from New Home. His name is Judge apparently." 'As in the Royal Judge..? But Sans..?' "Oh ok. Thanks Grillby." 'What is going on here..?'
I went to Judgement Hall after the ceremony. There'd been times in the past when he came here to think. Reflect on things. Now here I was doing the same. I could almost see the ever elusive Sans, standing before me, explaining to me what EXP was and LV. Even if I already knew. Pacifist timelines where the surface was easy to reach and the humans were easy to persuade. If only I'd just stopped resetting.. I sighed. "Judge.. Sans was the judge.. Yet he was dead..? No. No. Somethings not right. Sans wouldn't die on Papyrus. But he wouldn't fake his death either.. So.. Judge is Sans..? But why? Did something happen? Is Sans trying to protect us from something? Or did Asgore do something? But.. Asgore and Sans are friends?" I had to figure this out. Undyne didn't like Judge it seemed, but if Judge was Sans.. Only Asgore would have the answers. So now I had to confront Asgore on this situation. I sighed again. Did you think about dad's LV? Chara asked. "LV? But he doesn't have any..?" That's not true Frisk. He can hide it. He IS a boss monster after all. He can act like a good king, hide his stats, and all that but after Azzy and I died and mom left.. He changed. And not for the better if you recall. "How so?" I asked them. Do remember that he ACTIVELY sought out humans, child or not, to kill for their souls. Even if he wasn't the one killing them, it still rose his LV plus the WAR before that. His Royal scientist TORTURED and EXPERIMENTED on monsters and humans to break the barrier with his knowledge. That'd do it too. "How would you know about all that?" Remind me who's the dead one here? "Good point." Exactly. Just.. If you do confront him. Be careful.
I stood just outside Asgore's throne room. I was kinda nervous now that I was here. So I listened in. "-did you make it look like dust?"
"i mixed flour with ash to make it look like monster dust, your majesty. nobody will never know the difference." That voice.. I shivered a little. That's what Sans sounded like during genocide run in Judgement Hall.. It was Sans. Most definitely. "Good work Judge. Tomorrow you'll start patrolling the mountainside for humans. Kill on sight."
"yes your majesty." My eyes widened in shock. This wasn't right! Sans wouldn't willingly agree to murder just like that! Not without reason! I staggered away from the door frame. 'No. No..' And his voice. He was to careful not to talk monotone in front of anybody. Something wasn't right. This.. Was Sans, but.. Wasn't Sans at the same time. "Frisk." I froze at the cold tone I was addressed. I'd accidently stepped into line of sight in my shock. I looked to Asgore and 'Judge'. "Get her." He knew. He knew I overheard them. I took off.I rushed down Judgement Hall only to be tripped by one of Sans's attacks. A blaster formed in front of me. I froze. It didn't fire so I assumed I did the right thing. 'Judge' came up behind me. "S-Sans..? Its me. Frisk. Do you remember me?" He said nothing. He grabbed my arm. "Ah! Sans! Th-that hurts!" I whimpered. Again he didn't react. He started pulling me back toward the throne room. It hurt. "Sans!" I tried again. But nobody came. I kicked at him, trying to be mindful of his single HP. It seemed to anger him slightly and he threw me to the cement. I guess it was a little bit better than the monotone thing, but not much. He grabbed me by my hair and hefted me up again. I cried out in pain. No reaction. "S-sans..Sans.. P-please.." I pleaded. He dragged me to Asgore. "Judge.. Don't be so rough." He let me go and I dropped to my knees, whimpering. "Frisk. What did you hear." I didn't say anything, at first. "Frisk? What did you hear?" He tried again. "... What'd you do to Sans?" I HAD to stay determined. Sans stood stock still behind me. Asgore stared at me, his eyes going cold. "Sans.. Show Frisk to her room. She'll be staying for awhile." My eyes widened. 'He's kidnapping me?!' Sans pulled me back to my feet, once again by my arm. "You won't get away with this!" I cried out. "You'll be found out!" Sans dragged me away.
