It was a chilly night as the two skeletons we're in bed panting heavily after their 'session'. Cross looked at his lover lovingly as he panted, making the other smile. Nightmare kissed Cross's head and soon picked him up as the smol yelped in surprise.

Nightmare wiped off the drool that was on Cross's face. "Did I go to rough?" He asked in a teasing manner but also a bit concerned. Cross shook his head tiredly. "Mmmm....no....B-But I feel sticky.....I want a bath..."

"Ok then.. I'll help you"

Nightmare picked him up carefully and started to carry him to the bathroom, placing him on the sink as he went to start the water of the tub.

Cross watched Nightmare with a tiny smile. Who would have known Nightmare king of negativity would fall in love with someone like himself. He would sometimes wonder if the taller was just toying with him for his own amusement, but when they got in argument and accidentally hurt Cross. He could see the hurt and regret in that usually dark and scary cyan eye light, and that's when Cross found out he really meant something to the dark Skeleton.

Cross was brought out of his thoughts as the taller spoke. "Hm? What?" He asked looking at him tiredly. "I asked if you wanted bubbles?" Nightmare asked as he held the Shampoo bottle. Cross nodded with a smile, sometimes Nightmare was too kind.

Nightmare picked Cross up carefully and set him down on the tub, making Cross release a sigh in content. He then got in the tub aswell as he sat behind the smol. Cross blushed but leaned back into his bare chest, enjoying his presence.

The warm water sent tingles up Cross's bones as he relaxed. He soon felt Nightmare beginning to scrub his sticky bones gently.

Nightmare hummed as he scrubbed, smiling softly. He loved Cross so much and seeing him so relaxed made his soul feel warm. He wanted to keep Cross safe from the world's dangers. He nuzzled Cross's head and planted a kiss as he continued to scrub.

After awhile of them taking a bath Nightmare lifted Cross up and placed him on the sink as he dried him off, then soon dried himself. Cross could barely stay awake as he bobbed his head sleepily. Nightmare chuckled. "Sleepy already button?" He teased as he chuckled more. Cross- too tired to argue about the tease -just nodded as he yawned.

Nightmare smiled then puts an oversized T-shirt on Cross and then he wore some pajamas as he picked Cross up. He soon brought him to the bed, using his tentacles to change the sheets. He soon laid Cross down and then laid beside him. Cross nuzzled the fluffy pillows slightly, making Nightmares soul beat faster. 'he's so cute...' he thought as he wrapped his arms around the smaller's waist as he pulled him Close.

Cross nuzzled his chest tiredly as he smiled. Nightmare held him close as he kissed his head. "I love you button"

"I love you too Nighty..."

Then they both went to sleep.
