After being caught in the curse by Malice & Mace, Luigi and Saiko open there eyes and they saw they was in some sort of church and see stairs leading up with Chess design Floor.

Luigi: *Look around* Where are we?
Saiko: *Look around* I have no ideas... It look very Spiritual. By the look of the arena, it look to be a Clock Tower. Why are we here?
Then they remember Malice & Mace.
Luigi: *Worry* Mario, Meggy?! Are you two in here?!
Saiko: *Worry* They could have gone far. *Looking at the stairs* We should go look for them. The only place to go is up.
Luigi: Yeah... I hope we're not too late.
Saiko: Same here.
Luigi & Saiko begin to walk up the stairs and made it to the upper floor and saw 6 glowing Orb Pillars with lever on each of them and ahead they saw Malice & Mace looking at Mario & Meggy being bind against the wall with Spell Chain and was still sleeping as Luigi & Saiko walk to them.
