Was this a date? Dalia wasn't sure. Could you go on a date with someone you'd only met a couple of days ago? Uncle Moody had said marry Snape for all he cared, but that would probably compromise the whole mission. Wouldn't it? And wouldn't that be lying, technically? She already felt a little guilty as she and Snape trekked down the long path that led from school into the town of Hogsmeade. It had started out awkward enough, but eventually with enough well placed questions Dalia had Snape ranting, talking about his school life and parents and what the town he was from was like. He felt young, like he was her age, and not about ten or twelve years older.

"Sirius Black?" She interrupted as Snape had gone off on a particularly angry tangent about his school boy tormentors.  Snape had paused, and glanced down at her.

"Yes. Sirius Black."

Dalia bit her lip. Was Snape in the Order? She couldn't remember.

"He like- did something, right? Isn't he a criminal or something?"

"He was accused of killing some muggles, and a man who betrayed their best friends, but it appears-" And Snape's voice got exponentially more bitter as we went on, "-that he was never guilty of the crimes he'd been locked away for."

"Damn. That's crazy. Hey, wait, he was friends with like, that kid Harry Potter's parents, wasn't he?"

"Yes." The word was clipped. Dalia glanced up at Snape, and her brow furrowed slightly. Then her mouth popped open.

"Oh, you were in school with Harry Potter's parents."

"I was."

"That's not- he wasn't- one of them was, a bully then?"

"Not Lily."

"That would be his mom, huh? Damn. Crazy. Can't believe you were bullied by the famous Harry Potter's parents."

Snape had grown cold again. They walked in stiff silence for a while. Finally Dalia let out a little sound.

"Sorry. I was joking. I made dumb jokes like that. I uh- blame the lack of social interaction with kids my age. Danny thought they were funny."

Snape's jaw worked a little, but Dalia could sense they'd gotten over the hump in conversation.

"Danny was your friend at school, then?"

Daila snorted. "Danny was practically my other half, honestly. Still is, I guess. Although, sometimes I feel like I'm just, like taking care of the guy. Love him to death though. He's just.. Yeah. I dunno. We get each other." She paused, then tapped her temple playfully. Snape's eyes followed the movement curiously. "It's probably the divination bullshit stuff."

"So, Danny is... The same as you?"

"What, like, does he have Intuition?"

"Yes."

"Nope. He's got something different entirely. Mister Hallorann suspects only about five people have what he and Danny has. It's like, more clear than Intuition. I like, know the suggested things that can happen. Or what someone has already decided on saying. Danny and Mister Hallorann have like.. They just know things, you know? Clear, undeniable things. But- it isn't seeing, I guess? Because seers have like, visions. Danny and Mister Hallorann can like, mind talk to one another. They get visited by the dead. They can astral project like- Danny is.. Very talented."

Snape hummed a little. Then- "Visited by the dead?"

"Yup."

"Interesting."

"I think so."

"And you and Danny you've... I mean, he's not.. You've never been... Romantically involved?"
