Rough Draft Teaser for Sasuke's Omake in the Rewrite

Hey guys! I was making Sasuke's new personality and deepened character arc and went, "I HAVE to make at least one Omake from Sasuke's POV!!!"

I'm loving how I made him so far and I can't wait to see how he becomes as I work on him and Naruto!

That being said, this Omake Teaser for the rewrite is a Rough Draft. It ISN'T completed OR edited yet. I literally made this during my ten-minute break at work.

I do plan on adding a bit more but not at the beginning, meaning that the way it starts now is most likely how it will start when I repost it. I will not be showing every little detail (like Sasuke's slow descent into an inferiority/superioty complex or his ascent out of them).

Talking more about his ascent out of his complex: that character arc will be entirely from Naruto's point of view as Sasuke is just a supporting character in this story.

I just wanted to make an Omake from Sasuke's point of view as Sasuke is such an interesting character to mess around with, along with Naruto ^-^

I mean, it's so interesting delving into the mindset of someone who views himself as weaker than EVERYONE around him (including Sakura). It's also delving into his hatred for Itachi and how that's shaped his character now.

Just know, I will almost always write a mature/matured Sasuke. I hate his immaturity in canon and you will rarely see me write a story where he went on a revenge streak.

IICSYIWTY and Complicated are not exceptions, because it's mainly hinted and not explicitly stated that he wanted to/succeeded in killing Itachi, and they show Sasuke regretting his actions. 

Second Chances/To Fall is Love are the only real exceptions since Sasuke is an unrepentant asshole of his actions until the very end, and only then is he repentant of what he did to Naruto, not to Itachi.

For those of you who are wondering, Second Times' The Charm IS an example of a matured Sasuke because he never wanted to kill Itachi. He just leaves Konoha because he wanted to keep up outward appearances ^-^

In Desert Fox, he does think of killing Itachi until he learns about Orochimaru's plans and gets into contact with Itachi by accident. He then learns the truth and works on leaving Orochimaru.

Subtlety Is An Art, The Medic's Choices, The Immortality Games, and Isama Uchimaki are still up in the air regarding this, though I don't think so in Isama Uchimaki.

Anyways, sorry for derailing right there.

As I said earlier, this is going to be interesting to create.

This Omake should be placed right before the Wave Mission Arc, as it's going to show Sasuke's POV up until then. I'll be showing the details of his disorders, and how it affects Sasuke and how he interactions with his team.

Sasuke knew that everyone was better than him. He never thought that he was the best and it was because of this that Sasuke grew distant.

Everyone must hate him for being so weak, right?

Everyone was just being polite to him out of pity, right?

He hated being pitied and so he lashed out in anger towards his fangirls and Naruto.

Naruto was a weak nobody who didn't stand a chance in the Shinobi world if he didn't know what it means to be a Shinobi.

What it means to put your life on the line and the lives of your family.

Naruto didn't know, because he had no family.

But was that really his fault?

Sasuke sighed to get rid of his thoughts, noticing when Naruto entered the room.

The blond looked... different somehow. He looked more subdued and on the verge of crying, especially when he saw Iruka.

Naruto looked like him and Sasuke hated it. Happy and bright fit the blond much better than sad and dim.

Sasuke would never admit it, but he enjoyed Naruto's antics as it made him feel like they were still kids who didn't know the cost of being a Shinobi just yet.

Where they chased after a figure, idolizing them and all they stood for, without knowing their darker parts. Their dirty secrets that nobody else could know.

Sasuke was brought out of his reverie when he heard his team.

So our team is going to be made up of an avenger, a useless fangirl, and a matured idiot.

What could possibly go wrong?
