Hello, lovelies! Here's the next chapter! I do apologize if it's a bit boring at times. I do include a fight in this chapter, but there is a more in-depth description of the battle in the next chapter. Warning the flashback will contain sensitive topics like torture. I will add the same warning in the next chapter and there is a warning right before the scene begins. The scene is not necessary for the plot like I explain, but it does shed some light on how Naruto's personality has changed from the five months in being in Konoha.

I am currently working on the epilogue. If I finish it tomorrow, you guys get an early update tomorrow. If I finish it tonight (Highly unlikely), you guys get an extra update tonight. If I update early tonight, tomorrow I will start posting "Second Times' The Charm." The first update will be an A/N explaining what is going on before I delve into it. I update early tomorrow, I will post the A/N the day after that. Either way, I will be posting the epilogue to this story the day after I post the A/N for "Second Times' The Charm." If you want, I can post an A/N on this story stating that I posted it, or you could just lurk on my account and watch as I post it.

Well, I hope you enjoy this chapter! If you do, please leave a vote and a comment!

Chapter Eleven:

The next day Itachi took Naruto to a clearing after they had breakfast. Itachi had grabbed bento boxes from Konan after telling her that they were probably going to be out all day.

Itachi cast a critical eye over Naruto, "Alright, I'm going to be training you from now on. I must warn you that I am...strict."

Naruto nodded. Both of them had noticed the red-haired male that was watching them but neither of them said anything, preferring to let the man do whatever he wanted and not making a scene on the second day.

"My first rule is that you must not depend on Kyuubi's chakra. That will become a crutch later on, which is what I want to avoid."

Naruto nodded slowly, understanding the older raven's logic.

"The second thing is you will be training with my clones until you are ready to spar with me, no complaints."

Naruto resisted whining, he didn't want to piss off his new Sensei right off the bat.

"Now, what do you already know?"

----

Two hours before dinner Naruto was standing in the middle of the clearing, leaning on his knees for support. "I...I'm sore in...places I never knew about. Did...did you do...that when you were my age?" He wheezed out. Itachi nodded.

Naruto looked at him in disbelief, "How...did you....not kill yourself?"

Itachi chuckled, "I developed the Sharingan at a young age."

Naruto nodded, that actually made sense to him. Naruto could hear Nagato chuckling at the short exchange between the two. Itachi could probably sense his humor through his chakra that accidentally flared out when he chuckled.

One good thing about this day was that Naruto had found out his chakra nature was wind and fire. Itachi had mused that the fire release most likely came from Kyuubi himself while the wind release was his natural nature. Naruto had great chakra control, but he had never tried to convert it into fire, instead, he had been fine with just using his wind nature up until now.

Itachi had told the younger boy that wind and fire release could combine to make scorch release, but he had told Naruto that he had no knowledge of any low-level techniques. He also admitted that it was a Kekkei Genkai, which probably meant that Naruto wouldn't be able to use the particular release. Naruto had decided to ask Kurama about the particular Kekkei Genkai and had been surprised to learn that he had a dormant storm release, which came from his father's side. He couldn't use the wind and water technique, but he had asked Kurama if it would be possible to use fire instead of water. That had led to a mixture of two Kekkei Genkai's, but Naruto didn't like using it as it was very deadly and they effective.
