SAGITTARIA was sitting in the car, next to the crystal clear window, with a look of antipathy clinging to her youthful face. She sighed, and pressed the button with her index finger to roll down the window, and take a breath; but it was difficult — no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't manage to clear up her mind. Most kids at her age wouldn't mind moving houses, what's more, many of them would actually enjoy that; but Sagittaria wasn't like most kids. She didn't like change, she wasn't good at making friends, and already in itself, sometimes it was difficult for her to put up with the people she already knew. Sagittaria might've been only nine years old at the time, but she still had a clear sense of what she liked and disliked.

''Sagittaria, Ivana — wake up. C'mon, we're already here!'' Sagittaria's dad enthusiastically chanted, as he parked the car next to a run-of-the-mill house painted melon on the outside, and had a big wooden front door. Ivana, who was with her eyes closed, let out a loud groan, as she stretched her arms so far she almost hit Sagittaria.

''Is this it?'' Ivana asked, sticking her head out the window, and looking around.

''Yup, this is it!'' The girl's dad replied, making a cheerful gesture with his hands.

''...Where is the rest of the house?'' Sagittaria ironically asked in a very thin voice, causing her sister to covertly laugh.

''Girls, we know this isn't what you're used to compared to your old house, but sometimes palatial mansions in Maresme aren't all that, you know? Your dad and I are sure you'll eventually become acquainted with this new lifestyle, even if it's complicated at first. Especially for you, Sagittaria — it's known that you're the most capricious of the two.'' Sagittaria's mom explained, and made her daughter raise an eyebrow, as her other daughter just broke in laughter.

''Hey, sis — what's wrong?'' Ivana asked, approaching Sagittaria, who was taking her things out of the trunk, with the same long face as before.

''Nothing, it's just... I don't know how I feel about moving out. I mean, I've brought all my suitcases with me; but I left everything else in Maresme — my friends, the memories, the joy... And everything here seems like it'll be so different! I'm just... scared. Of change.'' The younger girl opened her heart to her sister.

''Sagi, don't even worry about that. Making friends will be easy for us — we both look like the kind of girls everyone wants to be friends with. Don't be scared, everything will turn out okay, I promise.'' Ivana said, holding her sister's hand, and kissing it.

''Yeah, you're right. Thank you.'' Sagittaria said, showing a shy smile, as she hugged her sister.

''DOVIMA, have you met the new neighbors yet?'' Dovima's mother was heard yelling at her daughter, who was in her room, looking at her cell phone.

''What new neighbors?'' Dovima yelled back, confused, without even lifting her eyes from the screen.

''A couple has just arrived to move into the house next door. I saw them through the window — them and their daughter, who looks more or less your age.''

''Okay, and?'' Dovima asked disgustedly, as she raised an eyebrow, just beginning to realize where this conversation was going.

''Could you maybe swing by their house, and greet them? Please, Dovi, I want them to get a good first impression of this neighborhood, and for you to make a friend — you know you don't have any here!'' Dovima's mom softly asked, as she stood outside her daughter's room.

''Ugh, fine! I'll do it.'' Dovima groaned, as she rolled her eyes and complained, but still got out of her bed to put on her shoes and brush her hair, and dashed out the front door of her house.

''Hey, how are you?'' Dovima asked, as she walked towards a tall girl who was still taking suitcases out of her parents' car trunk.

''Everything's fine, thank you.'' The girl replied, and gave Dovima a warm smile.

''Dovima Nurmi, a pleasure.''

''Nice to meet you, Dovima. Ivana Flores.'' The girl chuckled.

''Your family just moved here, right?'' Dovima asked, leaning onto the car trunk.

''Effectively, as you see.'' Ivana said, gesturing to the bags she was taking out, causing Dovima to chuckle.

''And what was the reason you guys moved here?''

''My dad got a job near this neighborhood, and my old house was way too far away from his new office.'' Ivana explained.

''Where did you live before?''

''Maresme.''

''Ah, so you're quite a posh girl!'' Dovima teased Ivana, causing the two of them to laugh.

''Yeah, I get that a lot.''

Just at that moment, to interrupt Dovima and Ivana's conversation, a little girl came out of the house; and upon seeing Dovima, she ended up shielding herself behind her sister.

''And who is that?'' Dovima asked, with a shy laugh.

''Oh, that's just my younger sister, Sagittaria. Excuse her, she's a tad bit shy.'' Ivana explained, moving to the side to reveal her sister who still stood from behind her legs — but for some reason, at that very moment, Sagittaria lifted her head, and looked at Dovima, who seemed to smile at her with her piercing eyes. And she smiled back.

''Sagittaria? Pff, what an odd name! But it doesn't matter because your little sister is adorable.'' Dovima said, lightly petting Sagittaria's cheek, which was now slightly flushed. Sagittaria didn't know who this new Dovima girl was, but if she knew anything about her, it was that she was highly intrigued by her, and by the lovely way she had treated her so far.
