The night Paulie and Sam forced Tommy to drive them back to the bar was when he realized he loved Sam. He had always had feeling for him, but this was really the first time he sat down and thought about how he felt. "Wait here." He says when Tommy pulls up. Tommy raised his brow nd Paulie sighs. "Do you wanna gift from the Don or not?!" Tommy nods and Sam helps Paulie out of the car. "C'mon big guy, let's get you in." He says. Paulie hisses and nods, blushing brightly. The two come in and Sam sits Paulie down with Don Salieri. The Don slides Sam an envelope and nods. "For the cabbie." He says.
Sam walks out, and Paulie sighs. His blush was still on his face. Sarah walks in and starts to patch him up. "You like Sam, don't you?" Salieri asks him. Paulie looks at him and shakes his head. "No..." But after a moment, nods. "Yeah..." He says, sighing heavily. "He's so kind and handsome...but he doesn't love me. I know for sure he doesn't. How could he love-" and just as he says this sentence, Sam walks in without Paulie noticing. "An almost 40 year old man who isn't the best looking and loves him too much....a man who's bottled up his feelings for too long...answer me that, Boss. How could Sam love me?" He asks as Sarah gets up and walks out. Paulie looks up and sees Sam walking closer to him. The Don stands up and walks out, and Sam leans down, kissing him. "Hey, don't talk shit about yourself Paulie. I love you because your handsome and because your nice...I just love you, Paulie." He says softly, smiling a little.
Paulie pulls him close by his bowtie and kisses him again, a touch rougher than before. "Good, because I love you too, you Stronzo*~" he says, smirking. Sam helps him up, chuckling quietly. "I'll take you home, and give you a reason to call me a Stronzo~ and maybe a new name is called for~" he mumbles, walking outside.
