"𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐘𝐎𝐔, Rotterdam!"

Before the lights dim, I take one last glance at the majestic crowd of...0. Nothing quite like an empty stadium, right? Tugging off the microphone attached to my clothes, I step down the back stairs to backstage, past people with clipboards and demands, until I reach a man in a black suit and tie.

"How was that?" I enquire, frantically putting on a jacket.

The manager stares down on his checklist, nodding, as he absentmindedly responds. "Good...good...that was good."

"Could I bring some lighters, throw them out to the audience?"

"Sure...sure...wai-"

Having caught his attention, I chuckle lightly, glad to have second rehearsals done with. Marc grabs an assistant, murmuring a coffee order as he faces me again. He can get quite caught up in the details of things - sometimes I need to bring him back to the real world.

"Acoustics were great; I don't think that needs any tweaking," Marc comments. "Janice will be looking at the dancers soon enough, they'll need their final steps changed a bit for the ending. Loving the ending, actually. I think your idea of having a mic in the air adds a bit of flair. Of course, I think you know the lyrics that might need to be worked on. There's also some technicalities I'll need to sort out, but uh...that seems to be all. Unless you have any other ideas, maybe lyrics?"

I think for a moment, surveying my surroundings as if it could provide some inspiration. "No, don't think so yet."

"Cool, you have some time to explore now," Marc states. "Call me if you need anything."
