• you two would meet during a rehearsal/interview, and he would be enamoured but could never admit to it.

• damiano would always be talking about how good your performance is to the other bandmates, and when asked why he talks about you so much, he just says 'well, i would like to beat them'.

• would learn italian and english for eachother <3 (or whatever language you speak!)

• lots of playful teasing between performances, and bickering.

• everyone would think you're dating, and the other band members would totally ship, even if they're sick of damiano talking about you.

• even the interviewers would ask if you two are a thing, and damiano would be so vague about it.

• got really close during esc2021 and helped each other out.

• travelled around rotterdam, seeing all the amusements and having so much fun when you're not performing.

• "y/n, can we go to that wine tasting festival today? it isn't far from here..."

• "you don't even drink wine!"

• posting on eachothers socials (again, rumours spreading).

• translating for eachother <3

• damiano constantly needing attention like a baby and wanting you to be with him all the time.

• but also understanding boundaries and space, and respecting your decisions and rules when it comes to dating.

• him introduing you to ethan, thomas and vic.

• puppy love, but at the same time, SO much competitiveness between each other for top spot.

• the final day in rotterdam being so bittersweet, and him getting emotional when you two go back to your home countries.

• SLAYING the red carpet together!

• trying to keep your relationship a secret because god knows what would happen if opposing countries had relations like that (bonus points if yall are supposed to be enemy countries).

• having the time of your life meeting everyone else in the competition, and making so many new friends together.

• performing zitti e buoni/(your song) together.

• karaoke/game nights where the whole band and your friends go to damiano's room and play games and sing.

• commentators being surprised (but not really) when you kiss on camera.

• picking out outfits for each other!

• damiano acting like a baby half of the time, and a 30 year old during other times.

• tasting different foods from your different countries.

• just being the ultimate power couple during esc2021.

• just feeling this invisible connection between each other, in crowded and empty rooms, in all the yelling and silence, and knowing that this is enough.
