The tall boy stood quickly. A lose white tee shirt made his dark skin and tattoos prominent, and tight ripped black jeans made his legs look almost as long as Luke's. His usual leather jacket was under his arm and was soon shrugged as Lex and Mikey approached.

Lex grinned up at her childhood bestfriend, "Hey Geek, are you ready for a weekend of nothing but- you, me, the couch, maybe a pillow fort, a bag of chrisps, and a few seasons of supernatural, doctor who, and Sherlock?"

"I'll get the pillows," Calum's grin was tilted, and familiar, but it never ceased to send a shiver through her.

"Well, I'll leave you two to Netflix." Michael smirked. "I'm at Ashton's if you need me."

"I don't get this," Calum scoffed, tossing a piece of popcorn at Lex's laptop screen. "What's the doctor's name?"

Lex smirked, "Who."

"The doctor, Lex, that's who. keep up." he groaned. "What's his name?"

"Who."

"The doctor."

"Who."

"THE DOCTOR!"

"Calum, Doctor who." He stared at the computer screen, where Rose Tyler and The doctor were trying to rid of ghost-zombie creatures. Lex laughed loudly, when Calum face palmed.

"Oh."

"Oh," She mocked.

"Hey Lexy?" Calum cleared his throat. Though, that didn't help. He still had trouble with the correct words. I really like you, and I was wondering if you'd break up with you're extremely handsome boyfriend to be with me, he thought. "How's everything with Luke?" He finally asked.

"We had a fight."

Calum could hardly hold back a smile. If they would break up, he could be Lex's shoulder to cry on. He might have a chance. "Really, about what?"

"Nothing, just about pizza or something. I forgot." Lex laughed nervously, pulling down her sleeves and pushing her hair further in front of her face. Of course, Calum has know her for years, he knew she was hiding something. And not very well. Her jacket rid up as she fussed with her hair, showing multiple deep purple and pink bruises.

Calum's eyes grew dark, but his grip on her grew gentle. "Who the fuck did this to you." He growled. "Lex, tell me." She bowed her head in deafet, knowing she couldnt avoid tell Calum."Please?"

"No one, Cal. Leave it."

He didnt budge, it was obvious he wont let it go. She sighed and pulled off her shirt, Calum gasped inspecting the harsh handprints on her forearms. His eyes trailed down, but he wished they didn't. Dark streaked purple and blue handprints were on her hips and the front and sides of her ribcage. He didn't know whether to be angry or sympathetic. Lex pulled her hair back, on one side was deep love bites but on the other another blue bruise.

It hit Calum quickly an hard. "Did Luke do this to you?"

"Calum don't jump to-"

"Lex, did Luke do this, tell me."

"W-We just had a misunderstanding, Calum don't say anything." She begged and begged, but Calum was in disbelief. How could she defend someone who hurt her this bad? The anger was building and he couldn't take it, he couldn't stand to sit there in front of someone he loves, and watch them break.

Then a knock, and two more harder than the first. "Babe, hurry and open the door." Finally taking in the situation, Lex's clothes on the floor and Calum's hands on her thighs. They were too slow to react. "Fuck it, I have a key."

To Lex everything happened in slow motion, from the door swinging open to the two long strides it took for Luke too forcefully pull her to her feet. "What the hell is going on in here?" Luke growled.

"We were just watching-"

"With your shirt off, Lex? I'm not that dense. Why the hell was he touching you?" The look Luke gave him made Calum's stomach churn, and not for his safety, for Lex's. "Answer me."

"Listen-"

"Piss off, why are you still here!"

"Luke, please, its really not what it looks like!" Lex sighed, picking her clothes off the floor and putting them on. "Calum did nothing, we just watching Netflix. And he saw my bruises so I-"

"He what?" Lex had never seen Luke so mad, but he recovered quickly. "What bruises, Lex? Who hurt you?" He looked sicerly surprised and hurt, if Calum didn't know better he would have almost believed it. Luke tensed and suddenly became on edge and concerned. "Tallulah?"

"Can I talk to you in private?" She was bugging for Calum to catch on and leave, but he didn't want to leave. Not while Luke was still with her, he can hurt her again and he wasn't going to let that happen.

"Calum, do you mind." Luke spoke calmly, and with pleading eyes begged with a look words couldn't discribe. Was he honestly concerned?

Yes, I do mind. I don't don't want you anywhere near her alone. "No, I'll be at Ashton's if you need me." He regretted every step, because once the door closed Luke's voice started to raise. The look on Lex's face was pleading and dissapointed, but Calum kept walking.
