A Dare (Hinny)

Hogsmeade Trip

Next morning,

The Great Hall

Harry, Ron, Hermione and ginny are having breakfast.

"Harry don't you look nice, are you going to Hogsmeade too?" teased Hermione.

Today is the Hogsmeade weekend. Hermione and ron are going, they asked for harry and ginny to join them but they denied.

Harry looked a little uncomfortable "yes" he said.

Ron and ginny immediately paused eating and looked at him. "You are?" Asked ginny quietly.

Harry gazed into her eyes, he wanted to say no, he wanted to ask her to go with him instead he turned back to his food and nodded his head.

"Who with?" Asked ron. "You said you can't go with us"

"I don't want to intrude on your date," he said still not looking at anyone.

"You still didn't answer my question" snarled ron.

"Cho" murmured harry but the group heard it. "WHAT!?" They yelled except ginny who is looking at harry with disbelief and hurt.

"Did she feed you a love potion, Harry?" Hissed Hermione.

"No Hermione, she asked me last night and I said yes. I do want to go with her, is that a problem?" He snapped.

"Hey, you don't talk to her like that" defended ron.

Harry perked up and stormed out of the great hall.

Harry is waiting for cho near the Clock Tower. He already regrets agreeing to this.

He saw Hermione and ron coming out holding hands. He smiled to himself looking at them. He felt bad for storming out before.

He slowly made this way to them. "Hey guys," he said slipping his hands into his jean pockets.

They glanced at him saying nothing. "I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you."

"Don't worry Harry. We understand that you're going through something" Hermione assured him.

"Yeah mate, but can't you share it with us?" Ron asked.

"Umm... Maybe, Not now though" he smiled tightly.

"Maybe you and cho can join us?" Said Hermione vaguely.

"I told you I don't want to intrude."

They nodded.

Fred and George came out of nowhere and started teasing ron for his date.

Harry took this as a chance to talk to Hermione. "Mione, is ginny going....with anyone maybe?" Whispered harry.

Hermione looked at Harry with concern "I'm sorry Harry, she didn't say anything to me"

"That's okay. You guys have a good time" he said.

Mione blushed "thanks, Harry"

"See you then," she said and left with ron.

"Hi, Harry" called cho.

"Hi" harry faked a smile.

"Shall we go then?" She asked sweetly smiling brightly.

"Yea" he nodded.

This is going to be a long day thought harry.

"Where do you want to go first, Harry?" Asked cho.

Hogsmeade is filled with people. Harry was busy looking for special someone that he wasn't paying attention to cho.

Cho nudged him. "Uh, you choose," he said.

"Okay" she jumped happily "let's go to honeydukes, I want to buy you some sweets" she giggled.

"You don't have to buy me anything, cho," he said.

"I know, but I want to" she grabbed his hand leading him to honeydukes, the sweet shop.

After some time, Harry is regretting every moment for why he was even here. He wished he could have been in the castle.

He's thankful that he didn't spot Hermione and ron, they would figure how miserable he was. And he didn't saw Micheal and ginny anywhere too. Not that he wanted to see them together but at least to know that she's here.

After honeydukes, they've been to Madam Puddifoots. Harry felt very uncomfortable being there. They were only couples around and were eating each other faces off. Just like in five minutes harry dragged cho out of there.

Now, Harry and cho are in Three Broomsticks.

"Seems like you're a bit off today harry, didn't you enjoy today?" Asked cho sipping her butterbeer.

"No, it's nothing like that. I'm having fun with you" he lied.

"Good" she had a satisfied smirk on her face. "You said you like someone last time, did she reject you?" She asked him in a mocking tone.

Harry didn't like the way she's talking. He just wanted to say 'not your business'  but he couldn't be rude instead, he said  "I think she has a boyfriend"

"Oh Harry I'm so sorry," she said squeezing his hand which is placed on the table.

"That's okay" he took back his hand.

For another half an hour cho kept talking but harry wasn't even listening to one single word. She noticed this but still kept babbling.

Suddenly, Harry saw a tint of red hair across the door of Three Broomsticks. For some reason, Harry is pretty sure it is ginny. He bent slightly to make sure and he is right.

Her arm is around someone else. She is with somebody. He shook his head to pay attention to cho but his head keeps involuntary swivelling to her and who she came with.

And now he totally forgot about cho. He bent down a little more for a clear view of this person she came with, he still couldn't see. He saw ginny smiled and is about to hug this person, so he angrily bent a bit more spilling his mug of butterbeer on cho.

"HARRY!?" she shrieked up from her chair. Harry's eyes widened oh crap!

"Cho, I'm sorry-"

"Save it harry, you weren't even yourself the whole day. I've had the worst date ever" she cried and stormed out.

Every single person over there is staring at him. He sighed and walked out but he didn't see ginny anywhere now.

Sorry guys,  please dont hate me for this. I had to do this date😕
