The One Mission

"So you are part of this group and they don't know who you are? Well, you got yourself in quite a bind." A trapeze artist, Laci, said.

"Ja. How are you gonna handle them? Especially if they find out about your flames and double life. You don't have your own set of Guardians either." Elsa the retired Strongwoman turned security guard asked.

"I'll cross the bridge when I get to my flames. Besides, while I didn't harmonize with anyone in this Cirque, I see you as family. I don't get why I need Guardians anyway." Skull said as he began to get ready for his performance as 'Lilianthe'.

He felt more free as Lilianthe. Sure Skull was a cool stuntman and did amazing feats, but Lilianthe was the star event. The Dancing Flower if you may. Skull made the crowd shout for more, Lilianthe made the crowd speechless in amazement as they gazed at her fluid movements.

As easy as breathing, Skull slipped into Lilianthe.

Lilianthe put on her usual make-up and aerial costume for an ocean theme. With the special wig and Lilianthe's natural female features, it was easy to pose as a woman.

As Lilianthe danced on her hoop, no one made a sound, only watched in wonderment.

As the dance came to a close, Lilianthe gracefully reveled in the applause for her.

After the Cirque closed for the night, Lilianthe slipped back to Skull, in case one of the mafia men came by.

A few days after the first meeting, Skull found himself on a mission with his new group. He was assigned the role of 'get away vehicle man'.

He wasn't complaining but he noticed a bug in the plan. There was a hidden sniper about to target Luce and the others couldn't get there in time.

Skull on the other hand...

The poor sniper barely sensed the 'Cloud' behind him in a flash.............

And snapping his neck with only his bare hands to the surprise of the others and the sniper dropping dead.

The others looked at Skull like he grew a second head thinking different things.

'That was so fast I didn't even see it!'

'How did he do that with his bare hands?!'

'So that's the infamous Cloud strength I've heard of.'

'He didn't even use his flames...'

'He used brute force?! I'm I dreaming?'

'That's not something a civilian can do...'

Skull didn’t like the silence before getting their attention.

"If we are done here, let's get out of here. They may send reinforcements." Skull spoke reving the car.

The group didn't need to be told twice.

But with this development, most of the group became determined to get all information about the mysterious Cloud.
