Jeongin rushed to the palace to see his mother, empress Yang. He ran like there was no tomorrow, because he must tell his mother she should change her decision.
"Mom—! Please don't accept his offer on marrying me" he bowed sincerely.
"I don't have a choice now if that's what he wants then we must do it for our place if not then..." his mother stopped midway and sighed deeply.
"B-but it was supposed to be my sister, how could he marry a man...like me?!" Jeongin shouted.
"I don't have choice! Or what? Do you want our royal family to be wiped out of country for 3 centuries!" His mother shouted.
"But still you haven't discussed this with father, just because He's not in Gyeonghuigung palace doesn't mean you have to plan all of this-" Jeongin almost glared to his mother because of this he forgot his manner.
"Stop it Yang Jeongin I already sent him a letter while he was away and he surprisingly agreed to it—" his mother's breath hitched.
"W-what? both of you are doing this crazy just because of that guy?" At this point Jeongin was terrified.
"It's not just doing that because of that guy it's for everyone in this palace, I'm doing this for them also for our servants and the people who's living here, so please just give in this once..." his mother said lightly.
Flashback~
"Jeongin, your sister is getting married to emperor Bang's son but she caught a cold and she needs a rest so..." Jeongin's mother tapped the tea cup nervously as she was sitting on the floor."So...what you mean is I will go their for her sake of marrying?" Jeongin guessed in confusion.
"Yes! That's what I meant" his mother almost shouted feeling excited.
"Ok...no problem just when and where is it?" Jeongin asked while drinking the tea
"It's at Gyeongbukgung... the main palace and you should go now they are already waiting there" His mother said while Jeongin nodded.
"Mom you could have just told your servant to pass me this message your requesting, why go here personally?" Jeongin asked suspiciously.
"It's nothing I just feel like visiting my daughter and my Sons' house I'll visit your sisters house and your brothers house after this..." his mother sighed.
"Oh ok I'll just fix my things and go there after this..." Jeongin stood up then bowed to his mother and walked to his room.
*****
Jeongin arrived at the main palace and the gaurds started to bring him inside, he looked left and right and was amazed by the structure. even though they had their own palace this main one was ten times better than theirs.
After half an hour a man in his expensive Hanbok entered, and to Jeongin's judges he looked attractive. The man bowed at him slightly but respectfully.
"I bet you're Yang Jeongin?" The man in his blue hanbok guessed.
"Yes! yes you're right" he answered fastly almost shocking the man.
"I'm Bang Chan, 27 years old the crowned prince of Gyeongbukgung" Bang Chan introduced himself.
"I'm Yang Jeongin, 23 years old the prince of Gyeonghuigung" Jeongin also introduced as he doesn't want to be disrespectful at the person in front of him.
"Jeongin... may I call you that?" Bang Chan suggested "s-sure I'll call you Bang Chan too for fairness and besides you'll be my future brother-in-law anyway..." Jeongin responded to the older, but Bang Chan chuckled making the younger confused.
