Yang Jeongin (양정인) is the prince of Gyeonghuigung not the crowned prince. Not yet. Yang Jeongin Isn't something special he's just good in poems and studies but he's bad at martial arts or like self defense which is sometimes a disappoint but he doesn't care anyways.
Yang Jeongin and their family in most of the times are casual when it's only them, but still they also respect each other especially their parents and elders.
Jeongin has 2 siblings whose names are Yang Chaeri (양채리) his younger sister and his elder brother Yang Dae-Jung (양대정).
Yang Chaeri is sometimes a brat and has a bad temper but she practices self control, she's 20 and a prodigy.
Yang Dae-Jung is not that kind also not cold, so nothing special, he's 30 years old, an middle age man. Just kidding the girls still fall for him. Dae-Jung is known for his talent in music and martial arts, yes he's the opposite of Yang Jeongin.
Bang Chan (방찬) is an only child of emperor Bang so whether he doesn't want to be a crown prince and a king in the future, he can't object to it, since he doesn't have a choice anyway, but he's ok with it especially that he has to pick his own bride and he gets what he wants they can't object to it. Unless you're Yang Jeongin then go on.
Both the Gyeongbukgung emperor and Gyeonghuigung empress have decided to arrange a marriage but because of Bang Chan's stubbornness he decided to marry Yang Jeongin, but if Jeongin's family object to it then they're palace will be removed from the country, which means it's either they'll use bombs or wipe out the royal family for 3 centuries. But it's only Bang Chan's threat after all he always gets what he wants so they don't have a choice.
