That morning I slept all day after Daryl and hershel left I was starting to feel better with the medicine not much but I wasn't coughing blood anymore so that was a plus.
Daryl was out helping everyone
"Ms Alex" I heard a small voice I saw a little boy maybe 6 or 7
"Hey what are you doing down here?" I ask
"I'm sick too" he says
I pat the side of my bed and he comes and sits with me
"What's your name?" I ask
"Ares" he says
"Wow what an amazing name" I say he looks at my picture of Daryl
"That's your boyfriend" he says
"Yep, Daryl" I say and show him it
"He's nice you and him bring us food to eat and always makes sure we are ok" he says
"He's the best at that, you should get some sleep buddy" I say
"It's scary in there my daddy died last night so I'm all alone momma died a long time ago" he says I scoot over and put him under my covers and lay with him
"Time to sleep" I say to him he cuddles up to me and goes to sleep
I still felt very weak so I made sure he was asleep then I fell asleep fast
I heard barking I woke up and teddy was down here he licked my hand and ares was also awake. He got down and started petting him.
"Teddy and I played together a lot" area says
"Oh did he, I'm glad he kept you company" I say
Tyreese comes in "get your things now, the governor is back he has hershel and Michonne if things go south we head for the bus" he says
I stand up still weak "ares listen to me go grab all of your things now" I say he runs back to his cell and does what I ask while he does that I grab my water and put it in my bag. Daryl brought all of my things down here I didn't have much I had a pair of clothes my two water bottles. I put my jacket on and ares comes back in with his backpack I put my gun in my pants and my sword on. I made sure Daryl brought me my sword I wanted it in my sight.
"Let's go" I say teddy was behind me I walked back to cell block c and grabbed a rifle and put some extra ammo in my bag. We exited out one of the doors. The bus was on the other side I sat him behind a wall and looked around I could see the governor. He had Michonnes sword up against his neck.
Rick was talking to him. "I'm scared" ares says
"I know honey just stay with me" I say
Then the governor pulls away slowly but then he cuts hershel I scream out and cry I pull my gun out and starts shooting.
I reload tears running down my face the tank they have breaks the fence down
"We gotta go" ares yells and cry's
He starts pulling me I stand up and grab his hand "teddy let's go" I yell to him
I run I get to the fence and cut it with wire cutters
"Hurry theyre coming" he yells I get a hole and teddy gets through it then ares I turn around and see Daryl a walker attacking him he kills it I then jump through the hole I go behind a tree and keep shooting "teddy guard" I command and I start shooting at them.
Everyone was shooting ares was holding on to my shirt.
Once most of the shooting stopped I grabbed his hand and we ran
