The Winter Soldier and the Blue Phoenix (complete)

Stark Tower

You follow the Blue Phoenix to the Bifrost and see a man standing in front of the portal.

"Y/n Walters. James Barnes. I've been expecting you." He says.

"How do you know us?" You ask, getting ready to fight, though you're tired.

"I'm Heimdall. The All seer. I see all hence the name. I was watching you follow Frigga throughout the dungeon. Your fight skills are remarkable." Heimdall compliments.

"T-thanks?" You hesitate, "Can you get us home?"

"Yes, I can. I'm assuming you wish to go back to earth."

"Yes! Yes! Earth!" You cheer.

He walks to a podium and grabs a sword off his back. He shoves it into a hole on the podium and twists the sword. A portal opens.

"Go. Quickly. Odin will come soon." Heimdall warns.

"Thank you so much!" You say as you run through the portal with Bucky following close behind.

You land in the middle of the road in New York. You get up and dust yourself off, looking for Bucky. He comes up behind you.

"You alright?"

"Oh my god! Bucky! You scared me!"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to!"

"I know, let's just- just go home." You sigh.

"Home?"

"Yeah, the tower."

"The- tower?"Bucky asks.

You ask, "You are coming with me, right?"

"I don't know. I don't want to hurt any of you." Bucky declines.

You gently place your hand on his shoulder, "You won't hurt anyone. I won't let you."

"Are you sure? What if I hurt all of you, what'll you do?"

"Don't worry about it. I'll keep you under control.  I promise." You assure him.

He smiles warmly, "Then let's go."

You grab his wrist and walk down the street. You eventually get to the tower. You burst in and see Steve urgently running around the main hall, looking for something, or someone. He stops and looks up to you and Bucky.

"Oh my god! You scared me! I thought you were here and I was looking for you!" He says as he runs up to you.

"You were looking for me?" You ask.

Steve kisses you but you don't push away. You kiss back. When you pull away Bucky looks bland, no expression, no smile like before.

"Alright, are we ready? Could you help me settle in?" Bucky quickly asks, clearly trying to ignore the kiss between you and Steve.

"Sure." You agree, also ignoring the kiss, like it's normal.

You lead Bucky down the hall and to a few doors.

"Normally, this is the 'guest' room, but you can stay here till we get your room ready." You explain.

"I-"

"You are staying right?" You ask.

"If you want me to." He smiles.

"Well, I do, I really do." You smirk.

"Great, it's settled. I'm staying."

You open the door and allow Bucky through. You walk in and close the door.

"So, how long have you known Steve?" Bucky asks.

"Um, a while, like, a few months." You nod.

Bucky walks closer to you, "About the time you've known me?" He says, inches from your face.

"Yeah," You get caught gazing at his lips, fantasizing about them against yours, "Uh, yeah."

"You don't say," He says, getting closer and closer to your face, slowly, teasing you.

You get sick of the teasing and move your face forward, pressing your lips against his, as he wraps his arms around your waist. . . 

You pull away, "You weren't terrible."  You quickly snap out of the trance this man puts on your, "This," You shake your index finger, pointing at him and then back to you, "It was a one-time thing. One time thing." You warn, "I'm with Steve, kinda."
