And the princess willingly let her with a sweet and soft smile on her face, the adoration on her face for her people was so vivid and he unknowingly was staring at the smiling princess.

The flowers complimented her long wavy hair, Damon was interpreted by a young merman pulling by his pants. He looked at him to find him holding a bunch of flowers in his hand, " did you come with the princess ?" he asked Damon with shining eyes, Damon nodded at the boy and then the boy handed him the bunch of flowers and Damon gave him a questioning look as to what to do with it. " it's not for you, give it to the princess it's her favourite flowers. You gotta give pretty flowers to a pretty lady " he stated with a wink and swam to his mother.

Damon looked at the flowers in his hand and smiled to himself, Aqua came towards him and continued the journey, he hesitated a bit but then placed the flowers in front of her by stopping her midway. She looked at the flower and then Damon who was looking at her with his sweetest smile, she hesitated but took the flowers from him and inhaled the fragrance of it and smiled. " pretty flower for a pretty lady " Damon said a bit more confident, Aqua looked at him with her eyebrow raised. She dropped her smile and continued swimming without any reaction or expression, Damon internally groned and regretted his sentences and cursed himself for it.

He smacked his head and trailed behind her and quietly listening to her occasionally talking and slightly peeking at her face and trying to read her expression. She came to an abrupt stop "what is it that you want to say, " Aqua said making Damon look at her, " um... is Anthea your real sister," he asked making up something and out of everything he only found this topic. She looked at him for a moment then signed " yes she is my real sister, she told you herself didn't she " she said continuing to swim towards the coffee shop looking place. " yes she did but just wanted to ask you too. " he stated.

" well, I was wondering how time works here, 'cause you know it's dark here always. So... When do you know it's morning and night " he stated genuinely curious. " well it's not like our people have never gone on land, few mermaids and mermen have gone and done their part of observation and research. They learnt and came back to explain the phenomenon and according to that observation, we have days and nights " she explained while coming to a halt at a tower-like building.

Damon just nodded in understatement and stood next to her, he looked up at the big tower. " what is this place princess " Damon asked looking around to find any clues or mermaids. There were not many merpeople around this area, he was shaking when he found out he was out of town and there were barely people swimming around. He slowly turned around to look at the princess who never moved her gaze from his figure, she smirked at his present State, " follow me " that's all she said before opening the doors and entering the tower. Damon had all kind of thoughts filling his mind, the last thing he wants is to be killed here and not even have a proper burial. He hesitated, groaned and signed when he had no other options cause he barely knew his way back. " aren't you coming " Aqua called back, Damon answered with ' coming ' and followed behind her to the tower.

They reached the top of the tower and the first thing Damon saw was a big shell, there were railings which he could lean on. He could see the city since it was on the outskirts of the town, it was quiet and peaceful but creepy at the same time. Damon's face was easily readable, his face showed nervousness, a bit scared and if he was not in water his plams would be sweating and he would have cold feet.
" don't worry, I won't kill you if that's what your thinking," Aqua said sort of taking Damon by shock, ' did she just read my mind, or was she thinking just like me ' Damon was thinking when she cut his thoughts off " it's prominent on your face, I can't kill you cause your my responsibility now and I don't want to let down mother, " Aqua said going around the shell,
" well looks like I will get out of here alive," Damon said with relief.
