" I was just curious as you didn't look so good after the conversation you had with him, it's fine if you don't wanna say..." Damon retrieved after seeing his expression not so good and had no intention to hurt him and step on boundaries. " he's not my family... He's the guy I love " William confessed not able to contain it in him anymore.

Damon was shaken and had not expected an answer like this, it's not like he didn't like it as he was no one to judge but just was taken aback.
" Okay, you people can be gay also. I didn't know " Damon said not thinking much, " well if you think about it, there's not much of a difference between the two worlds," William said still trying to put up a tough act. Damon caught this cause he also had done this plenty of times. " well, um... what happened. Did you guys argue?" Damon asked not thinking about the boundaries he was crossing, right now he only wanted to help him as he had helped him.

" oh, it's nothing. I wouldn't want to disturb you with my personal life " William said genuinely looking at him. " oh please, you have helped me and it's only fair if I helped you back and trust me I have been in plenty of relationships so I can give you an advice or two " Damon said a bit offended and stopping William blocking him from moving further and placing his palm right in front of his face. " okay, love professor it's just a tiny argument about revelling our relation " William said with a bit of chuckle and putting Damon's hand out of his face and draped in a saddened expression thinking about his boyfriend.

" so no one knows about the both of you and one you want everyone to know that you belong with each other " Damon asked receiving a nod from William. " okay so who wants to reveal the truth, " Damon asked trying to analyze the situation. " um... him, " William said while fiddling with his fingers. " okay um... Why don't you want others to know about the guy you love " Damon asked stressing the word love, William looked shook as if he never thought about it and thought for a good solid minute or two. " it's just... I don't know. People around me, the people I love and care about won't agree to this or understand this " William said which he himself barely knew.

" well if they love and care about you they will accept you the way you are, and yes at first they will be fazed but then they will cave in. " Damon said feeling every single word he just said, reminding him how his family never accepted him or cared to even understand him. William was in deep thought agreeing with him yet contemplating with himself at the same time. " even if they don't accept. so what, your in that relationship, not them, you love him and that's all that matters at the end of the day and love is a rare and beautiful thing not everyone gets it and if you do you have to hold on to it and cherish it " Damon advised him like an old man with wisdom.

William felt every word and everything Damon said, it was the truth. He just needed guts to tell the others and like Damon said it doesn't matter cause he will be happy with him. These thoughts made William smile widely, Damon had a small smile on his face himself. " well that's right, thank you for the words Damon you don't know how much those words meant for me " William said hugging Damon to which Damon returned his hug.

When they were having a moment what they had not realized is that Aqua had overheard their conversation when she had come from completing her duty and heading back to giving Damon a tour. Aqua was shaken herself by hearing those heart touching words from him and had not expected any words coming out of his mouth like that. She has travelled back through her memories reminding her of one person she wanted to forget and never remember but unfortunately, she remembered him every day.

It has taken her back to one specific memory where she was still seven years old sitting on his lap and listening to his sweet words, the exact same words that left demons mouth. She was curious about how he knew those words. Aqua had cherished those words and had kept those words very close to her heart before abandoning all her feelings towards that man who she adored and looked up to.

Aqua snapped back after hearing Damon speak again " so what's his name huh " Damon asked giving William a playful smile while teasing him about his boyfriend. " Matthew," William said trying not to blush but Damon caught up quick and continued teasing him a little bit about him. Damon decided to stop and ask more about their relationship but before he could proceed, his sentence was cut off when princess Aqua came near them and spoke to them telling them that her duty was done and William could now leave and she would accompany Damon for the rest of the tour.

Damon didn't mind but the way she spoke and looked at him was different, way too different and he wasn't sure if he liked this different. William hesitated a bit remembering the conversation they just had, he agreed to the princess as he had no choice and headed towards the castle. After walking away bit further but enough for Damon to see him, he actioned him not to tell her about their conversation and Damon agreed within a blink of an eye. William wanted to tell the others himself, he sure did need time but he was not gonna back away now. With thinking of these thoughts, he swam to the castle.

Damon greeted her with ' hi ' but was ignored which made Damon frown at the sudden change of attitude but ignored it cause it wasn't new to him. Damon shrugged and followed the princess to a cave-like place and the journey there was quite, both of their heads filled with thoughts. When Damon saw the place, it had gates like those of dungeons and were rusted. He didn't like the aura coming from it but he went in anyway behind the princess.

' this place sure gives me creeps and what is that smell. Why is there no one here, are we alone '

Damon's thoughts were thinking of all of the possible things that could go wrong and he also thought that Aqua would swim away leaving him to the sharks if something goes wrong, but still, something in him told him he should trust her as she had wished of him. It was a tunnel-like path and not a single sound was produced, not even tiny fishes came to his view while swimming through the tunnel.
" um...why don't I see any fishes here, at least there will be one or two swimming around here right," Damon asked doubting he would get any positive answer.

" no one comes in here, coming here is like inviting your death. So the fishes and merpeople prefer to stay away from this region " Aqua stated ever so calmly not glancing at Damon as his reaction was quite predictable according to her, she swam further with a smirk plastered on her face. Damon choked on his saliva and gulped hard, he was more than nervous. He wanted to flee away from this disgusting place, he turned around to run out of the tunnel and wait for her outside but too late, he was already deep in the tunnel. There were many other pathways and he didn't know which one would take him to safety.

" now is too late to run away, there's only one tunnel which will get u to safety and the others to um... death, painful one " Aqua said sassily while swimming further inside the tunnel. Damon wasn't thinking straight all his thought was of painful deaths he could die. Once he calmed himself down, taking deep breathe and counting numbers in his mind. one thought popped in his head and thought of how dumb he was. " wait a minute, if you got me here and you say its dangerous. If I die then you die, why would you bring me here if there is a risk of you dieing " Damon asked now swimming next to her with a serious tone.
