Avary looked up at get shocked, "you..." she stops. She felt the need to tell Jade about her illness, "it's nothing....never mind just a cold" Avary denied, she was scared of what would happen later on, Jade May leave her cause she's sick, maybe she Doesn't even speak to her again, and may spread news, she wanted to tell her yet she wanted to keep it inside, it became suffocating.
"I know you're lying." Jade says in serious tone. "I....I'm sick." Avary takes the chance to tell Jade everything.

"So what are we gonna do now? Can't they do the surgery." Jade asks panicking, Avary looked at her and sighed "they would have done it ASAP but there have not been any matches for a bone marrow.
"You shouldn't have carried this burden by yourself, it must be really tough having to smile all day like everything is alright but deep down you're hurting inside keeping this a secret." Jade says feeling down
Avary looked at Jade in her eyes before looking down at her feet "I...I'm really tired Jade. I'm really tired keeping in my feelings, I've always thought that I'll get through it but how can I when I only have 5 months to live!?" Tears streamed from Avarys eyes. Jade embraced her rubbing her back
"It's okay, I'll be there with you no matter what you have to go through." Jade says smiling, "thank you Jade." Avary manged to say while hicuppimg.
By the way, can you please keep this a secret?" Avary asked easing her head a little
"Until then let's enjoy the most of our high school life, let's live it to the fullest!" She suggests raising her hands
Avary smiled , "sounds like a plan." She says, she felt a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders, it was because she had told someone her problems, though that wasn't all of the weight it still made her relax, at last the question Jade asked Avary made her froze like an ice cube.
"Are you going to tell Jace?" She asks, Avary heart felt like it was about to jump out of her. "W-y would I-I do that?!"" She asks in deny, but all along she was asking herself 'why are you panicking, you just went on like one date with Jace.'
"Oh come on Ava I'm not dumb, I know you love him." Jade insists "what no?! Seriously! I do not" Avary paused in a low voice.
"In love with him." She whispers as her heartbeat fastened, her face turned red"it's really not...." she continues to deny,
"I've seen the way you look at him, and the way he watches you, I definitely can sense that you are in love with him." Jade continues "even your face tells it all." She added
Avary slapped her cheeks which was hot, 'am I actually in love with him, if I am, does he feel the same. Ridiculous! He would probably leave me if he finds out that I'm sick.' The thought made Avary became down.
"Okay stop thinking about it, I'm sure you'll sort your feelings out, and by the time until then, let's live our life to the fullest and happiest. It's going to be Collage entrance exams in 1 month, we should be prepared and have fun while preparing. At this time we'll do everything you never wanted to do" Jade tries to change the topic and cheer up Avary.
"You mean like a bucket list?" Avary laughed. "Exactly!" Jade replies placing her hands on her hips, "but this time it's different" she adds
"What do you mean?" Avary questioned curiously,
"I mean that you will fulfil this wish, but you're not going to die, not with us by your side." She places her hands on Avary's
"Thanks-a lot-ja-de it means a lot!" Avary replies sincerely as tears surfaced her eyes.
"Alright alright don't cry! Let's go back to class we're already late. Avary looked at Jade in confusion before checking her watch and noticing the time. "Oh MY GOSH!! LOOK AT THE TIME!" She panicked getting up dragging Jade along with her to class.
Jade laughed at her rash action.
