Dracula spent his time in his room but he would often get up to patrol his castle. His routine is lonely, seeing that he looks around only to see the small cracks in the ceiling.

When passing Isaacs workshop he worked on bringing a Corpse can to life as a night creature. As the skin formed the bones the soul of the creature entered bringing it's lungs the air of the world.

Isaac acted as if he was too busy with the night creature to notice you following Dracula. While going up a special stairs you were half to reaching his back when Isaac had landed in front of you.

Stopping you watched Dracula continue to walk on not noticing Isaac or you.

"Are you lost?"

Isaac held his hands back with his dagger.

"I am actually. I was following Dracula around because I was simply bored.

My name's y/n, pleasure to meet you Isaac. Dracula told me you were one of his generals."

You reached out an open hand that made Isaac see no harm in accepting. When he reached out his fingers flinched and that's when he did feel hesitation.

"Pleasure to meet you as well y/n." He accepts your hand gently shaking it.

"So tell me what it is that you were looking for exactly.."

You shrugged, rolling your eyes to the side as if deciding on something. "Okay well, you see I used to come here as a little girl. But something happened and I wasn't allowed to return.

Dracula granted me permission to walk around the castle and meet his two human generals but he also gave me permission to his library. The thing is I was too embarrassed to tell him that I don't remember where the library is.

So I thought if I was sneaky and followed him around it would lead me to the library."

Isaac walked beside you with his hands behind his back attentive to your words.

"I see. So you used to walk the walls of these magnificent castle, when you were a child. But you can't remember where things are

I can believe it."

He closes his eyes with a smile.

"So, I will take you to the library."

"Thanks!"
"If I may ask. What exactly are you studying?"

"I'm a sorceress, I'm studying everything. I want to know everything. But not in the crazy way where I'll probably like to sell my soul. No, I just believe education is something that should be respected.

To be able to speak to someone and have a conversation without there being a misunderstanding. That's the simplest education one can have."

Isaacs eyes slowly opened as he turned to look at you not believing someone like you exists.

"I don't believe it."
He closes his eyes.

"Believe in what?"

" I don't believe education is for all. Knowledge of the world is for those who desire it, those who are willing to sacrifice their own souls to be the foundation of an era."

You looked at Isaac as he watched you from the corner of his eye.

"Someone like Dracula.."

"We are all near mortals whose lives are only meaningful if we make it. We had nothing of value while they could live for years. Years worth of knowledge un- bestowed to men.

You will have all you want but what good is it worth if you are to perish like the rest of us. To slowly rot and decay with nothing more to give but what you share with your children.

Want my advice? If you want to be the keeper of all then you will have to make sacrifices. We have all sacrificed something to be where we are."

He opened two wooden doors framed with golden metal that traveled through an open library.  Running in you looked around remembering it.

"Nothing has changed."

You slide your hands on the table remembering the laughter of yours and Alucard.

Isaac observed you from afar seeing the smile that brings in a sense of peace.

"If you are only a sorceress who searches for knowledge then why are you studying under Carmilla? Why not with Dracula?"

Sitting down on the red chair you stare up to the ceiling.

"Dracula did something to make you hold a sense of loyalty and respect.

Carmilla was my Dracula. Yes, her teachings were harsh and painful. I do hold the scars of my failures on my skin."

You hold your arm softly drifting off into your mind.
"But I knew it was all for me. For me to become stronger.
I didn't want to go back to my old life. I was given this great grand opportunity. I took it, I took that opportunity.

I was her seed that she planted."

Isaac slid his hand on the table making circles on it.
"I, I understand. I was being hunted by brigand magicians who wanted to kill me, cut me up and sell my parts to other magicians.

Someone like me is, in parts of the world, a rich supply of ingredients for potions, spells and even aphrodisiacs.

And he saved me.

He was the only person in the world who ever lifted a hand to protect me from anything.

And he was not a human."

You look down smiling weakly. That's exactly how it was for you.
"No one else helped us. But they did. They actually looked in our direction. That means something doesn't it?"

Isaac bumps his finger against yours. "You are still flesh and bone. Why hasn't Carmilla turned you? You won't lose all of your abilities."

"No, some spells can't be performed unless it's done by a mortal. So, I need to stay human." You sigh softly.

"Do you want her to change you?"
"No! No.. I like going out for a walk during the day."

Isaac smiled looking to the side.
"Would you like a tour?" He offers you his arm for you as he walks around showing you the chambers and rooms.

"I thought I smelled something sweet in these halls."

Godbrand came out from the left hall blocking your way.
Your eyes were on his pale chest as they moved up seeing him smirk giving you a wink.

Shivering you back away as Isaac steps in front of you.
"Surely even a savage as yourself would know proper manners around a lady."

As they argued, you walked to the side seeing a shadow.
Hands reached out pulling you behind a pillar.

Carmilla's icy eyes met yours as she slid her hand away from your mouth. They looked to the edge of the pillar peeking over to see Isaac still speaking with Godbrand.

"It's not what -"

"I'm so proud of you. Already befriending Dracula's generales." Her hands caressed your cheek as she pulled you in close. "Maybe you're right about me bringing you here. You might prove to be more useful than I thought." She held the side of your head against her chest as she caressed your head like a pet.

"While you work on Isaac I'll work on Hector. I want you to convince Isaac into moving the castle to Braila. Do it for my little dove. Go now, and remember all I taught you."

She turns you around, making you go back to Isaac who just finished the argument with Godbrand. Godbrands eyes were able to catch Carmilla peeking from the pillars.

"I'll see you soon." He winks at you as he walks away from where you came.

"Let us continue." Isaac offers you his arm once more.
