"This leaves me no choice." He sighed before coming closer to the walls of the building.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" I looked at him.

"Climbing to your balcony, doesn't look that hard." He smirked at me as he grabbed hold of a pipe in the network to manoeuvre himself up.

"If you break this building's plumbing it'll be your fault!" I yelled.

I was so confused! He was actually doing it, he was already at the balcony right below mine. Catching his breath before continuing, he caught hold of the vines growing on the walls and pulled himself up to our balcony.

"Give me a hand in." He raised his arm while using the other to clutch on to the railings.

"Give me a reason I shouldn't push you off the railings and actually help you in." I huffed.

"Because I'm sorry, I really am." He looked at me.

His eyes looked so alluring right now, with nothing but the moonlight shining on him. He was a mess and so was I, I gave him my hand and he hopped into the balcony.

"I'm going to call the cops on you for breaking in!" Harriet ran towards us.

"No I'm not breaking in, as you can see your sister helped me in." He stood tall again. He wasn't as slouchy and shrunk anymore. He was being somewhat himself again.

Except for the messy hair and shabby outfit. Not like it made my heart flutter any less.

"I don't think there are enough words in this world to express how sorry I am." He sighed.

"It's not like you apology is going to fix everything." I laughed wiping the few tears that managed to escape.

"No, I don't expect you to ever forgive me but will you at least give me a chance to explain myself?"

"How rich of you to give me some closure-"

"Stop. Just stop. You think I don't lo-like you?"

"Of course you don't, you never-"

"I read that email Tara, and because romance isn't dead I even wrote you a letter. I didn't know where you were so I gave it to Harriet." He sighed.

"I never got a letter." I looked at him in confusion.

"This would be so much easier if you had read the letter-"

"But I can't, because I'm pretty sure Harriet burnt it or something."

"I felt happy around you, I felt so careless and free around you."

"Then why did you act like every minute you've had to spend with me was the most dreadful thing you've had to do in the entirety of your-"

"Did I ever say that?"

"No. But you sure did make me feel like that sometimes."

"I'm too old for what I'm about to say." He cringed. "Being around you made me feel emotions I definitely felt odd about acting on."

"You're making this sound like some sort of weird psychological experiment."

"I had crush on you!" He blustered. "There I said it."

What? My eyes widened. I took a step back and a deep breath. What did he just say? What was he saying? He was still rambling on. Maybe I should tune back in.

"You're bubbly, you're like a ray of sunshine, you've got the brightest eyes I've ever seen and you speak your mind. Above all Mia loves you. You felt too good to be true-"
