The King unbuckled his seatbelt. The plane had just cleared take-off, and was now cruising towards the direction of Busan. They had spent the better part of the day journeying around Seoul and Busan. Tae-Eul had suggested visiting all of "their places" - the National Library, the Grand Church of Corea, and the Han River to name a few. Well, the ones in Corea, at least. They would have to revisit the ones in Korea another day.

Along the way, Tae-Eul had suggested taking photos at each location so they could create a keepsake album. They could add more photos in the future with all the milestones and happenings in their lives. Thinking about it, he couldn't wait to add their next milestone - the birth of their first child.

"What are you thinking about, my heart? You seem deep in thought." His wife seemed absorbed in looking out the window. Presumably, at the full moon that was glowing brightly beyond - but he knew better.

She was probably deep in her thoughts; though, she could just have been tired. Towards the evening, he had noticed her yawning more frequently. As she was easy to tire lately, they had called it a day and were now flying back to the Royal Culinary Institute for dinner - which also happened to be their last date destination.

The ingredients he had ordered earlier were already prepared and ready for him. The King planned to make one of his most famous dishes - also, the very first dish that he had cooked for his wife when he was trying to impress her with his cooking skills.

Finally breaking her gaze from the window, she gave him a vague answer, perhaps hoping he would dismiss it, "Just something..."

He didn't believe it.

She must have been really bothered about it.

A sudden thought crossed Lee Gon's mind, causing him to voice it out loud. "Is it about the baby?". He started looking her over, worried that there might be something wrong with her and the baby. In his panic, he had forgotten that they hadn't yet made an announcement.

Oops.

Belatedly, he realised that the other occupants of the plane cabin would have probably heard it too. Though Captain Jo was already in the loop, Secretary Mo had not known about the good news yet. He had planned to hold a meeting to arrange for a press conference this week, but had promptly forgotten about it.

Between trying to juggle his kingly duties and trying to keep the pregnancy a secret, the thought had slipped his mind. He would have gotten Secretary Mo to remind him, if she wasn't one of the people he was supposed to keep the secret from at the moment.

Secretary Mo's flabbergasted look convinced him that it was too late for that.

"Yes, the baby." The King gave a small nod, and Secretary Mo's flabbergasted expression quickly changed to one of joy. You could see the wheels turning in her head, as she was probably already planning the schedules for the press conference, wardrobe fittings, and prenatal education in her mind.

"Congratulations, Your Highnesses."

"I thought we were going to wait to tell everyone?" Tae-Eul let out a small sigh. Watching her brow furrow with worry, he grasped her hand. They hadn't yet discussed everything at length yet, and understandably, she was concerned about safety and privacy concerns.

"Well, now we won't have to tip-toe around Secretary Mo anymore. Plus, we can start thinking about how we want to release the news publicly... " Lacing his fingers with hers, he rubbed soothing circles into her palm with his thumb, hoping to defuse some of the worry that was clearly evident. As she relaxed slowly, he continued, "...and we've even thought of some names."
