The Alpha, the Beta and the Warrior

Chapter 2 "The Canis Major Pack"

"Dude can you get a shake on for fucks sake, if we are late to the pack meeting our parents will go apeshit" I laughed at my Beta to be Leander while I finished off my hair, I may not be a player like him and my brother Nero, but I do like to make a good impression, "I'm coming, keep your shit together man" as we walked down the hall I could see my brother Nero leaning against the wall talking on his phone.."Baby it's for the best, you know I love you too but we can't be together, I have too many commitments as a warrior..I know baby but It's for the best, take care and remember me" he cut the call then smiled at us with a face asking "What?"My adopted brother Nero who was to be my third in command was a player, him and Leander shagged anything with a pulse, both were ruthless, no feelings involved, they had multiple girls a week which they often shared..yuk! They were a nightmare when we were at school, thank fuck we've graduated. 

I'm Brontes, 23 years old, I'm 6ft5 with brown hair and dark eyes. I train every day with the head warrior Russ and, my pack as well as preparing to be Alpha once I find my mate..that's a sore subject for me, I have been looking for her since I turned 18 and still no luck, I cannot be Alpha to the Canis Major Pack without my Luna or the pack will appear to be weak, thank fuck my parents believe in the blessing of mates from the Moon Goddess and are not forcing me to mate with just anyone, I have not saved myself for all these fuckin years for nothing! Don't get me wrong, I'm no saint but, I know my limits, unlike the jackasses with me, let me give you the quick low down on them both! 

Leander is my Beta to be and like another brother to me and Nero, he's 23 like me and is around 6ft3, he has blonde hair and bright blue eyes which gives him an angelic look but, don't be fooled, he uses this to his advantage to get in the girls knickers which, seems to work a treat for him! Then there's my adopted brother Nero, he is 25 years old and was adopted when I was younger, he was adopted while living in Greece before my father was requested to take over the pack here in Oregon, Nero is a little smaller than me but has dark curls that girls seem to love raking their hands through (so he tells me!) He is a cocky fucker who is very sure of himself and being a warrior suits him perfectly but, despite their ways I love them, their my brothers! 

 As we make our way into the clearing where the meeting is being held I can see the pack sluts sat at the bench in front of the stage chattering about the 3 of us as we approached, I have no respect for Regina the leader of their little gang and her bestie Heather, they will open their legs for anyone, Sammy on the other hand was always a little bit quieter than the other 2, I had a feeling she was only with them because she had no other friends, and they offered her some sort of protection, I was so grateful on my 18th birthday I was not mated with one of those 3, I thanked the Moon Goddess so much for this! 

 "Boys" my father acknowledged us as we climbed the steps of the stage, like myself, Nero and Leander bowed their heads as a sign of respect for my father and his Beta Erebos, Erebos was Leanders fathers and a big mother fucker who was a loyal but strict man who was currently glaring daggers at his son, as we walked past it was not difficult to hear him speak to Leander with a growl that "they would be speaking after the meeting" at this Leander slightly paled, Nero had a smug grim on his face while looking at Leander, this did not go unnoticed by my father "I would wipe that smirk off your face boy before I do, this chat we will be having after the meeting will also include you" my father spoke with a tone which no one would challenge, my mother and Luna Althaia stopped her chatting to the Beta female and friend Cora while giving the boys a disappointed look....oops shits going to get real! My father cleared his throat and stood to the podium, "Welcome my pack members, I hope you are all of good health" everyone in the pack stopped any chatter straight away and showed my father the respect he had earnt, "It is a great time for the Canis Major Pack, next week we will be welcoming a new family to our pack, I hope I can rely on each and every one of you to show this family the respect they deserve, we will be welcoming head Doctor William who is a great man with much talent, along with his wife and soon to be head Nurse, Rose, their 2 daughters and an excellent warrior and protector to his girls Edward" as my father cleared his throat my wolf started stirring in my mind and pacing, my wolf Luca was normally only like this with good reason, I checked around my surroundings to ensure there was no threat but I knew no one would be foolish enough to cross our borders, my eyes caught my brothers Neros and Leanders and I could feel that their wolves were also alert...strange!
