Chapter five

Dream woke up the next morning did his morning routine and got dressed.

He went downstairs and greeted his friends good morning

"Hey guys I'm going to my parents today."

"Okay!" They all said in sync

"I'll be back later!" He yelled as he closes his front door and walked towards his car.

While driving he decided to call his mom

Ring...ring...ring.....

"Hello?"

"Hey mom!"

"Clay! Haven't talked to you in a while how are you?"

"I've been better.... Oh and I'm driving home today!"

"Here?"

"Yes? Is it a bad time?"

"Oh! No sweetheart! Your welcome anytime!"

"Thanks mom! I'm gonna hang up now see you there!"

"Bye dear, drive safe!" She answered hanging up, he sighed and kept driving. He saw a familiar street he parked his car infront of his parents house and knocked on the door.

It opened revealing his mom smiling widely when he saw his son.

"Clay! Come in, come in, Terra is waiting for you on the table." He smiled and followed his mother to the dining, he saw his sister and she immediately ran and hugged his brother.

"Clay!"

"Hey bubba.." He said in a sad tone, he was gonna miss his sister's hugs

"Are you okay sweetheart?" His mom worriedly asked the tall, he nodded

"Uhm-I'm gonna tell you when dad gets here..." She nodded and he took a seat with his sister and chatted. They heard the front door open and his dad walked into the kitchen

"Son!" He hugged the blonde and he hugged back, they pull away from the hug and his father sat down while his mother was in the kitchen.

"So honey, your dad's here now what were you gonna say?" She asked as she was stirring her tea

"Oh- right uhm-...." He sighed and took a deep breath "I'm uh- gonna die..." He heard his mother drip her spoon then she turned to his son

"W-what?" She asked as tears build her eyes

"Uhm- yeah I'm gonna die in two days..." He repeated there was silence then his mother started to cry.

He immediately stood up and hugged his mom tightly soon his dad and sister joined in. The house was flooded with cries and tears

He pulled away and reached for his wallet and took out his bank card and softly grabbed his mother's hand and placed it on her soft hand and closed it.

"Keep it..." His mother looked up and hugged her son one more time

"How am I supposed to be happy without you here?" Terra chocked out from her sobs

He pulled away from his mom and kneeled down to his sister's height and opened his arms and she immediately jumped in and hugged the blonde never wanting to let go

"Your gonna be okay... I'm gonna watch over you..." He whispered

"I love you bubba never forget that..." And she cried even more and hugged him tightly.

|30 minutes later....|

Dream opened the front door ready to leave and took one last glance at his family and smiled sadly.

"I love you guys.." and he closed the door and headed to his car. He cried silently in the car remembering how sad his sister looked.

He got back and slammed his car door shut still crying and opened his front door and did the same he slammed the door with his back facing the door and slowly kneeled down and cried in his arms.

The others heard and ran towards Dream and comforted him

"Dream mate, what's wrong?" Wilbur asked with his hand on his shoulder

"I just said goodbye to my parents...." He mumbled in his sobs

"What do you mean goodbye Dream?" George asked as he kneeled down and hugged the taller

"I'm saying goodbye because I'm leaving.."

"Leaving where?" Jack asked

"Leaving earth...." He mumbled

"...."

George pulled away shakingly and helped Dream stand up and looked at him in the eyes and gasped

"D-dream!? Why are you eyes black?!"

"....."

"Dream?" He asked again then....
