Chapter 19 | After 12 years

"Don't be so hardheaded, she needed to go into a surgery. If you're not gonna change that mindset of yours then she will die as soon as all the blood reaches her brain. Remember that this is a celebral hemorrhage." Makabuluhan kong ani habang nakasandal sa pader.

When will this man going to change his ugly attitude. Ang hindi niya pakikinig ang magpapahamak sa amin.

"Then fine, assist me. Go wear your gown. I'll call Doctor Jimenez to ready the OR." Blade said and left me.

I shook off my head, I can't believe I'm with him since I started to work in this hospital. Does he ever think that I can't  handle his bossy attitude and being a hardheaded.

He's now a graduated neurosorgeon but he still acts like a second year student.

I put my scrub on and walked into the OR. I saw Blade washing his arms.

I open the faucet and started to washed my arms.

"Hindi ba dapat nauuna ka sa loob? you're my assistant in this operation." Blade said while his hands were up. Bahagya akong tumigil sa pagsasabon ng kamay,

"You're so irritating. Can you please just get inside?" Naiirita kong saad bago ipagpatuloy ang pagsasabon at nag banlaw.

Agad akong sumunod sa kaniya papasok ng OR, they started to wear me gloves, mask and a surgical gown.

"Masyadong madaming dugo," I said while looking into an endoscope. Blade opened this patients sanction the blood out.

After a couple of hours the surgery were done, I feel relieved that the operation was a success.

Agad kong ibinaba ang mask ko at lumabas ng OR, kita ko ang miyembro ng pamilya ng pasyente.

"Doc, how's the operation?"

I smiled at the old woman infront of me, "The operation went well. It will took days for the patient to wake up, please excuse me."

I saw how Blade walked towards me, nakapagpalit na siya agad?

"Woah, so fast by changing clothes. Teach me how to do that." I joked. He laughed. I removed all the surgical things the I'm wearing.

"Kailan mo balak umuwi ng pinas? It's been twelve years and you're now an official neurosorgeon. I'm sure that they were all proud of you." Ani ni Blade habang nakaakbay sa akin.

Twelve years... In that twelve years siya ang kasama ko, we both graduate and started to worked together. He became my bestfriend again.

"Blade, the hospital needs me--"

"But your family needs you more Yams. They were all expecting you to come home on Chairman's birthday,"

He has a point but, but am I ready to go back home?

I became a doctor in Japan and had a beautiful position here in States.

"I'll try," Pilit ngiting ani ko at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad, we headed into the head quarters.

I sat on my chair and sighed, "Kapagod,"

I heard Blade chuckled, baliw. He sat on the chair and drunk his water.

"I heard he's now a lawyer," Agad na nagsalubong ang mga kilay ko.

"Who?"

"Travis Klei."

"Ahh, good for him." Walang kwenta kong sagot at tumuon ng tingin sa computer.

"He's now handling a most biggest cases in Philippines," Muling sambit niya.
