"Na CT scan niyo na ba ang pasyente?"

"Yeah I told you that thing already." Abby said I nodded but it made me stopped seeing a familiar face.

"K-kez.."

"Klei."

Chapter 20 | Is it still me?

Madiin akong napalunok ng muling makita ang mukha niya, ngunit ngayon ay nababalot siya ng sugat.

I didn't expect him too see him in this condition.

I shook off my head, I need to stay focused!

"Tinawag niyo na si Doktora Enrique?"  Kunot noo akong tinignan ni Abby.

"Hindi ba't kaya ka nga nandito e para ikaw ang gumamot sa pasyente at mag monitor sa kaniya?" Dudang ani niya.

Nauubusan ako ng sasabihin! Nag palinga linga ako, nag babakasakaling makahanap ng paraan para makaalis dito.

"Don't move." Ani ko ng umakma siyang ta-tayo,

"Y-you did well Dra. Medrano c-congrats my love." He said and winked at me, ramdam ko ang gulat ni Abby sa gilid ko.

H-he called me 'my love'!

Napako ang atensyon namin ng pabalibag na bumukas ang pinto. It's Amanda and Blade.

"Oh god! Are you okay?" Tarantang tanong ni Amanda kay Klei.

Don't tell me he's Amanda's boyfriend? Amanda is too older for him, I looked at Blade that now's beside me.

"Bonak, anong ginagawa mo dito?" Kunot noong tanong ko kay Blade, he's supposed to bring Amanda to the mansion right now.

"She said his brother is in the hospital so sinamahan ko siya. Sakto you own this hospital kaya nakilala ko agad ang lugar." Sambit ni Blade habang nakasandal sa pader.

Oh, so kapatid niya pala si Klei, I feel relieved-- wait what?

I nodded my head and wave my hands while walking towards the door.

"Oh my! my beloved bestfriend!" Sigaw ni Amanda ng akmang lalabas na ako ng kwarto.

Agad niya akong niyakap ng mahigpit, "puta hindi ako makahinga!" Inis na sambit ko.

Agad siyang humiwalay ng pag kakaakap at ngumiti, nagulat ako ng hilain niya ako pa-palapit kay Klei.

"I'll tell nurse Aki na gamutin ang mga sugat mo." Naiilang na sambit ko,

"Thankyou." Sambit niya naman habang nag titingin kung saan.

Amanda were about to say something but Blade cut her off.

"After 12 years the two ex lovers met again." Ani Blade kaya agad ko siyang sinamaan ng tingin,

"M-mag ex kayo?!" Gulat na tanong ni Amanda.

I glanced at Klei, he's looking at me. I looked away and about to answer no when he cut my words off.

"No--"

"Yes,"

"Omy gosh! Why didn't you tell me about this?" Naiiyak iyak pa niyang tanong, I wanted to burst into laughter.

"Ams, your brother wounds needed to be healed." Mahinang ani ko at binawi ang kamay ko mula kay Amanda.

Saktong pumasok si Aki, ng makita niya ako ay agad siyang nag bow at lumapit kay Klei.

Nakaramdam ako ng kasipagan na gamutin si Klei kaya agad akong lumapit kay Aki.

"Ako na ang gagamot." Ani ko kay Aki, tumango siya bago muling mag bow at lumabas ng kwarto.

"I need to wash and aid his wounds, mag intay muna kayo sa labas." Muling sambit ko sa kanilang tatlo, they just nod before walking out of the room.

I sighed before sitting on the chair and started to wash his wounds.

Rinig ko ang pag daing niya sa sakit kaya dinadahan dahan ko lang

"I missed you Kez," He whispered, napahinto ako sa pag gamot sa mga sugat niya.

I looked at his eyes directly and sat straight.

"You can be discharged tommorow, wala namang malalim na sugat, wag ka lang mag papaalikabok." Ani ko at itinuloy ang pag punas.

"May malalim akong sugat Kez," Sambit niya habang naluluha luha pa.

Agad na nanlaki ang mata ko, I thought na CT scan na siya?

"W-where?"

"Dito," Ani niya at itinuro ang kaliwang bahagi ng dibdib.

"Tangina." Hindi makapaniwalang ani ko ngunit hindi niya ako pinansin at nag patuloy sa pag sasalita.

"When you left that time, I lost my mind. Akala ko babalik ka at buwan lang ang lilipas but I was wrong, labing dalawang taon pa pala bago ka bumalik. I miss--"

"How's life, how's marriage?" Pag iiba ko ng usapan, I'm too curious about their marriage.

"What? I am not married yet, hindi pa ako nag po-propose sayo e." Ani niya kaya lalo akong naguluhan.

"I thought Keith and you ar--"

"Nah, I'd rather die than be with her. I'd rather beg for your hand than beg to  hers."

Hindi ko alam pero parang may mga paro parong nag sisiliparan sa tyan ko.

"I still love you Kez," He sighed heavily and smiled at me. "Tell me, ako pa rin ba?" Punong pag asa niyang tanong,

My tears started to flow.

"It's always you Klei that hasn't changed. Pero remembering how our past gone through still affects me. Sobrang sakit kasi--" I stopped cleaning his wound and burst into tears. I felt his hands in my back. "Kasi you didn't even bother to know my side, kung ano nga bang nangyari. I-I know may kasalanan ako but know that time na what you did is on purpose putangina ang sakit e. I'm too hurt to be yours again, 'cause my trust and my everything is gone again. I'm afraid to be yours again Klei, I'm too afraid to be hurt by you, again.."

"Babawi ako, just-- give me a chance to gain your trust again.. please baby?" He said but I kept my mouth shut, I let him hugged me.

After 12 years I couldn't believe our path will crossed again, that we will going to meet into an unexpected situation.

Not knowing that we know the same person.

Sabi nga nila, expect the unexpected but my expectations were too low that I didn't even bother to think that I will see him again.

But... I've never regret seeing him, I never regret meeting him again cause even if something bad happened in the past, we still had a pretty memories.
