Chapter 24

Olivia POV

I was the last one to wake up. It's strange how sometimes when you are the first one to go to sleep and then you're the last one to wake up. I don't get that.

I got up and went through my closet for an outfit for school than one for my date with Chase.

It's gonna be warm today. So after showering and brushing my teeth, for school I decided to put on an outfit I got before my birthday. (Top of the chapter) I grabbed a backpack that matches with it.

I went downstairs and everyone was around the table. They all looked up at me.

I stood there frozen.

Smiles appeared on their faces.

I looked at them as I slowly walked to the cabinet where I stored Amaya's food when Chase gave them to me.

I took out her blue bowl with a pink bow on the side. I poured her into the bowl and from the corner of my eyes I saw that they were still staring at me with those smirks on their faces.

They started creeping me out like was there something wrong.

Olivia: What!? You guys are creeping me out!

They all looked away and this is when I have a bad feeling about this.

Olivia: Guys? Is there something wrong?

My mom was the one to face me again and she hand me an envelope. It was from BC.

I took out the letter and it said:

Dear Miss Jenkins,

Congratulations, you are one of 100 students, who were accepted a full scholarship to Boston College. We are pleased to have you this fall.

I stared at the letter and back at my family and friends and than back at them.

Olivia: I was offered a scholarship?! I was one of the 100!!!

Alexis: Congrats Livi and now we can go on road trip!!!

Olivia: I totally forgot about that.

Alex's eyes widen and she gasped.

Alexis: Livi! You were suppose to make reservations!!!

Olivia: I know, I know. But I didn't think I was gonna get offered with a scholarship.

Alexis: Ugh!! I have to do everything myself around here.

She took out her phone and made a few calls.

I set Amaya's bowl in floor. When she wakes up, she'll come down and eat. My mom made oatmeal, which I hate. I just grabbed an apple and head out.

I had to drive since Alexis was busy on the phone and Lizzie was too lazy. 

I decided we should take my new car that I got for my birthday to school. Alexis's mom is gonna drop her car off school later. So I'll be riding alone since Lizzie is going with her. They have to make a stop somewhere before they come over to my house.

When we arrived I got pulled to the side of the school. Lizzie and Alexis didn't even notice. Some friends.

Olivia: Jackson!

I shouted.

Jackson: Wait... before you say anything. Let me talk first. I know after everything happened, it hurt you. I'm sorry. Big time. I didn't mean to hurt you on purpose. I'm not trying to get back together with you but I was just hoping we could at least be friends.
