I got closer with Conan after that day. We talked about biology (NERD STUFF) and had many conversations about science. We also liked Taylor Swift (✨QUEEN✨), so we would scream about her new re-recording of Fearless, and how much we loved her. Conan and I had similar interests, so we became very close friends. We went to each other's houses and danced crazily to our favorite music. I liked him so much, yet I couldn't tell him that even after 2 months.
-back to reality-
After the class finished, I headed to the convenience store to grab some dinner. I picked iced green tea and a sandwich. As I sat on the bar table in the store, I noticed Conan walking around the store, picking his own dinner. (wow what a coincidence)
"Hey, Conan! What are you doing?" "Oh, hey y/n. I'm thinking about what I should eat. " "Oh...by the way, are you coming to our class during evening self-study?" "Well...I'm planning to." "Great, see you there." I smiled calmly, but in the insides I was jumping with joy. I'm so lucky to have Conan in our class during our self-studies.
"Ok class, I'll be supervising y'all for today's self-studies. Please take out whatever you need to study. Oh, and y/n, please follow me." I was confused. Did I do something wrong? I didn't want to let anyone down, especially Conan. As I took his hand, Conan leaded me outside the school.

I followed him to the parking lot, where his car was parked. Conan slightly smiled as he opened the door for me, who was still confused. "Uh...aren't we not supposed to do this?" (yes of course not this is just a fanfic bruh) Conan looked at me with a mischievous grin and said, "Well, yes. I know I'm a teacher and I...I'm not supposed to do this...but...uh..." He blushed, cleared his throat, and continued.
"W...would you like to go out with me? I...I liked you since we first met..."
I was stunned. 'This...does this mean he actually likes me? How should I react?' I've never been in a relationship with anyone, and this whole situation didn't make sense to me. It was like a movie line, that boring romantic scene you would always see in old romance films. However, I was captured in that moment. That quiet parking lot with my crush standing in front of me, the silence made my heartbeat louder, and I was pretty sure my face was burning like hell.
"I..I'd love to."
Conan's face brightened up, and he smiled as he took my hand and started the car.
Conan pov
I finally got the courage to ask her out. I know it's illegal to do this, and...if anyone knew this, I'd probably lose my job. Still, I found her so attractive, and I couldn't stop thinking about her. Since I first met her, I...I instantly fell in love with her.
We drove madly as we sung 'Style' (by miss Taylor Swift). It was nighttime, and the road was almost empty. I smiled as I looked at her. Her dark hair was flowing with the wind, and the street lights made her look more beautiful.
'Only if she knew how much I like her...' I thought as I drove her to her house. I've been there a couple times, so I knew exactly where to go. "Uhm...I had a lot of fun, y/n." I stuttered stupidly. 'Gosh, that was NOT cool, Conan.' I thought to myself. "Can-can you be my girlfriend?" I blurted out. ' Wow, that was so embarrassing. Too straight forward, Conan. She'll probably say no-' "I'd love to." y/n also kinda blushed.
I was too happy to speak. I think I was grinning weirdly, and my face was as red as a tomato. I'm sure I looked like a complete idiot. But still, I'm in a relationship with my crush from this moment. Looking at her face made me blush again. I got her number, and we awkwardly said goodbye and returned home.
