Sherwins Pov

It was 2 days after the promise ring proposal, and today is an in-school Christmas party that's hosted every year, two days after Christmas and then it's back to Christmas vacation after that. On this day we can dress however we feel too.

Everyone knows I'm gay, so I get bullied for it most of the time. No one, except some of my close friends and the teachers, knows me and Jonathon are dating and so help me if Trinity even finds out.

This day should be okay... Or so I thought...

"Okay, everyone settles down!" the teacher said as she uplifted her voice.

"Now today is a gift exchange. If you brought gifts for other people, please wait until the END of class," she went on.

"You will advance one by one according to this box and whoever I call up, you are to hand your gift to the person you got, understood?"

"YES, MRS. PERRY," the class shouted.

My hands were shaking because I didn't want to go first. Luckily my friend noticed and asked if I needed calling Jonathon.

(Let me explain something: Jon and Sher aren't in the same class. The teachers put them in other classes so that it could help with both their separation anxiety, BUT in case one starts to have an attack both can be excused for a little. REGARDLESS CONTINUE.)

" No, you don't have to. Today isn't one of 'those' days,," Sherwin answered.

The friend nodded gently, understanding the situation.

I didn't realize miss was already halfway through the class, and it was probably almost my turn.

"Dxe," the teacher called out

The boy walked up, without a gift in his hand, which naturally made me curious why he doesn't have one, he is the self-proclaimed wealthiest person in the school... But maybe they are having difficulties I thought back, and so I won't criticize him!

"Dxe, where is your gift?"

" You see, miss, I was going to buy a present for my person, but I instantly changed my mind because sinners don't deserve any gifts," he said, looking straight at me.

I watched up from my fingers and knew directly who he was talking to. He was my bully after all.

Tears welled up in my eyes, but I didn't want to cry, because that'd only just cause him to feel like he's won.

(The teacher recognizes who Dxe is talking about because she's Sherwin's therapist when his private therapist can't make it, so she's been trying getting Dxe's parents to come to talk about his behavior for a few months now, but they never come)

"Dxe, that's enough!"

"No! Cause why do we even need to willingly accept this poor, ugly fa**ot."

"THAT'S ENOUGH! OUT MY CLASSROOM, AND DON'T EVEN THINK YOU'RE RECEIVING A PRESENT THIS YEAR,"

"Whatever didn't want these poor people presents, anyway"

I couldn't hold it in anymore I dashed out of the classroom, placing the gift I had for my person on my desk,"

I didn't realize where I was going, my feet just lead the way, and soon enough I ended up in front of Jon's classroom.

Slightly hesitant, I opened the classroom door with my head down, hoping that no one will notice I was crying and went straight to the teacher.

"Hey, Sher! What's up, Hun?" the teacher quietly questioned.

I could feel all eyes on me and knew they were watching me because the ruckus of noise they were making had died down.

I quietly explained to her the problem, and she immediately got mad.

Slamming her hand on the desk, she angrily shook her head.

"THAT CHILD! I SWEAR!"

"JONATHON!" she called out loudly.

The whole class gasp as they thought Jon was the one in trouble.

"Sher, hun wait there for me," the teacher politely said.

I stood by the board with my head down, not wanting to face up, for I knew people were looking.

Ms. Morée (the teacher) was explaining Jon the situation, and I could tell from every bit of the story she informed him. His anger increased. But soul help me the day the class sees Jon mad.

"WHAT!" I heard a scream come out of Jonathon's mouth.

The whole class fell silent. They seemed frightened. I'm guessing they've never seen Jon angry before because he's always reasonably excellent at maintaining his composure.

"I'M SO SO DONE WITH THAT GUY."

he angrily stomped out of the classroom.

I looked up, and all eyes shifted on me.

"Sher, what is Jon mad for?" a voice called.

"Yeah, Sherwin," then another voice

"yeah" and then the whole classroom questioned

I couldn't handle it. I just broke down crying right there.
