could it be us ? part 2

Previously 

I mean what could go wrong right, two people who still love each other, in one house on the hills with the most beautiful view? I mean you can expect long conversations, laughter, some heart-to-heart and maybe sex...

Now.. 

It's time for the Montana trip. both Jennifer and Ben were super excited to see each other. it was pretty evident that sparks would fly as soon as they would look their eyes. 

they sat in the private key together side by side. A comfortable silence enveloped the atmosphere, as Jen, who had not gotten proper sleep for months finally started drifting in the presence of Ben. She unknowingly leaned on his shoulder and before we knew it, she was fast asleep. Ben looked at her, beating himself up for all the times he hurt this beautiful, smart and talented woman. Regret flooded his mind as he thought of the "what ifs". Now he made himself a vow, he would never hurt her again. he would do anything to make her happy. if that even meant not being in a relationship, he would still be by her side. 

He rubbed her head and softly hummed their favourite song. he might have not been a singer, but Jen found his voice to be so soothing. That was the most sleep she had gotten in ages. After a certain point, she had woken up, afraid that Ben would stop cuddling her, she stayed in the same position, closing her eyes again and pretending to be asleep. 

after about another hour and a half, the pilot announced that they were about to land. Both Jen and Ben woke up, looked at each other, blushed and then smiled. it was like both of them wanted to say so much to each other but just could not find the right words to do the same. 

The car ride to Ben's serene cabin was long and silent, Jen looked out of the window as Ben continued to drive. Their minds were busy thinking about what happened on the flight, the feeling that they felt was just indescribable. 

as soon as they reached, the staff helped them with their bags and then left as they wanted the at most level of privacy possible. After freshening up both of them came down for dinner 

Jennifer was wearing a transparent tank top and some booty shorts, her natural curls flowed as she dawned nothing but her iconic glow on her skin. Ben couldn't take his eyes off her. he truly thought she was the most beautiful woman on this planet and of course, he could faintly see her abs and those toned and shinny legs looked so incredibly sexy. Jennifer too found Ben looking handsome, that groomed bread suited him so much. and the tattoo which was slightly exposed was such a turn-on for her. After both of them were done checking each other out, they went into the kitchen to make food. 

it was so much fun. laughter filled the area as Ben accidentally ate baking soda instead of salt. He made a disgusted face and Jennifer could just not control herself from laughing. They joked and had fun like friends, filled with an occasional flirty line of course. 

after they were done with their meal, they sat on the couch to watch a movie, without even realising it during the course of the film, both of them closed the gap between them as they cuddled each other. One thing was going in both of their minds, they desperately wanted this to be real. 

once the movie was over, Ben knew he had to say something. so he began his speech to make Jennifer his again. 

Ben: "Jennifer, this is so much fun, it's not even started and I can just tell that it will be the best time of my life"

Jenifer: "I totally agree, its been a while since I have laughed like this"

ben: "Your laugh is to go unheard," Jennifer smiled at this remark 

ben: "hell.. you are so beautiful, smart, talented, loving, awesome, badass, sexy.... honestly I could go on forever"

Jennifer blushed, and just as she was about to speak, Ben interjected, he said"Jennifer, I know I have done some messed up things in the past. I know I have hurt you so badly. but give me a chance to reverse my pain. my heart always belonged to you. will you give us a chance, please? give us a chance to do it right. I will treat you like the queen you deserve to be treated as. I respect you so much, beyond belief. it will not babe 50-50, cause if you were low I would give you 100% without getting back anything in return. I will do it for love, cause Jennifer loving you is the best thing that has happened to me alongside my kids and losing you was the worst thing that happened to me. I will make it right this time. by that I don't mean that we won't have bad days, I mean that we will power through those days together cause we are a team. these are the words I am saying to you, but it's not all talk, I will show you everything that I just said."

Jennifer had tears in her eyes, everything that he said was perfect. All she could do was not. She replied saying, "Ben I understand everything you said right now, but we can't make the same mistakes. we have to take it slow, we have to build each other up. I hope you understand where I am coming from. but I will say that I will give us a chance."

Ben hugged her so tight. they looked at each other and telepathically knew what the other wanted. they started kissing, it was slow at first, but slowly be became more and more heated. the passion from the past seventeen years was realised in that kiss. after making out on the couch for a couple of minutes, they separated, still looking at each other and breathing heavily. they couldn't stop there, so Ben grabbed her as they rushed into the bedroom. we all know what happened In there then. it was full of fire, hunger and passion. sparks flew as their bodies collided in perfect rhythm. after about an hour of making love, both lay breathless on the bed before cuddling and dosing off to sleep. 

Jennifer wondered if this was it. if she could actually make it this time. cause if this failed, she would never believe in love again. 

The hopeless romantic in her would die as she would completely disown the concept of loving some other than her kids.

suggest any other person you want to see Jennifer with. Also I was thinking about doing a 10 to 20 years later situation for her rom-coms. so basically what happened to Marissa Ventura and stuff? comment about your opinion on this.
