Chapter 17

Mikayla P.O.V

After my doctors appointment I was in a daze, I didn't even realize that I had got in my car and started driving. I didn't know where I was headed but I know I didn't want to go home. So I kept driving until a came to a familiar neighborhood. Then I realized that it was near Carmen's so I decided to pay her a visit. When I pulled up to her house I got out the car and knocked on the door. After awhile I heard the locks click and Carmen's daughter Camille. Hey auntie Mickey. Hey baby where yo mama? In the kitchen. Oh, didn't yo mama tell you not to open the door. Yea but I looked out the window and saw you so I just opened it. Well next time get yo mama first ok. Ok. I turned around and closed the door then I grabbed Camille's hand and walked to the kitchen. When Carmen saw me she smiled then it went away. Carmen: Camille why you open my door. Camille: cause you didn't here it and auntie Mickey was just standing there so I just opened it. Camille looked like she was about to cry and Carmen sighed. Carmen: baby I'm not mad at you I just don't want you to open the door for anyone. Camille: ok mommy. Carmen smiled and Camille went to the living room to watch tv, so I just sat at the table. Girl what's wrong with you. I looked up at her for a minute and decided to keep the baby news to myself. Um I'm just tired. Nah it's Simone what she do. Nothing and I'm not worried about her. So it's August? I stayed silent. What he do? Ok you know how Simone is staying with us. Yea. Well he never discussed her staying at the house he just brought her home and then he gone come up in the room saying he just came straight from the hospital with her and thought he could talk to me about it later. He could've called you. That's what I'm saying, but no he just walk up in the house with a bitch that he know I got a problem with. Why she staying with y'all any way? Because she had a prenatal DNA test so she has to be on bed rest and August wanted her to stay with us. Oh I'm surprised you ain't pop off. I did kind of pop off on August. Kinda or did you take your anger out on him? I took my anger out on him, I was just so angry and he thought it was alright so I just stopped talking to him. Girl that's yo boyfriend you can't just give him the silent treatment even though he was wrong I think you should go home and talk this out. Your right. Of course. Simone P.O.V

I woke up with a plan in my mind. So I got up and took me a shower then threw on some casual clothes. Since Mikayla and August aren't sleeping in the same room I'm guessing my plan worked. Now all I got to do is seduce August. So I went down stairs in the living room and saw him sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. So I went to the kitchen grabbed a wine bottle and one glass and went back to the living room. I sat next to him and he still didn't look at me. What's wrong. He sat up and sighed. Mikayla won't talk to me. I just looked sad. You want a drink. He shook his head yes. So I poured him a drink and handed it to him he gulped that bitch down fast as hell then poured himself another. I don't know what's wrong with her I mean all I did was make sure that you were safe because you're pregnant. I just shook my headed with sympathy as he continued. And she just walks away doesn't even tell me were she's going I'm sick of all this bull shit. He poured himself another glass, gulped that down then another one. I just watched him cause he's falling right into my trap. After a few more glasses he finished the bottle so I got up to throw it away but he pulled me back on his lap. Do you still love me. He looked me dead in my eyes. Of course I still love you. He leaned in and kissed me and of course I kissed him back, I was so happy I got my baby back. After awhile he pulled away and looked at me in shock. This is wrong we shouldn't be doing this. I was about the to say something until I heard Mikayla. August? We both looked at her in shock. August tried to say some thing but Mikayla ran up stairs.

August P.O.V

This is wrong we shouldn't be doing this. Simone was about to say something but I heard Mikayla's voice. August? I tried to say some thing but she ran upstairs. So I got up and ran after her, but I was too late she locked the door. Mikayla open the door and let me explain. I slurred, man I was drunk I couldn't even knock on the door. She didn't even answer me and then I heard her moving and slamming stuff. Mikayla please open the door. She still didn't answer me. So I just sat by the door. After awhile I heard the locks click and Mikayla walked out with her bags. I stood up quick as hell. Mikayla where you going she tried to walk down the stairs but I blocked her in. When I looked at her her eyes were red and she had a angry look on her face. Please move. Mikayla just..... Just listen. August move your drunk and your an asshole. I was shocked by what she said. Mikayla just listen. She pushed past me and walked down the stairs. I ran after her almost falling down the stairs. She was about to go to the door until Simone said something. So you finally leaving thank god. Mikayla looked at her then walked over to her. Bitch if you say another fucking word ima fuck you up and I don't care if you pregnant. Simone didn't say nothing so Mikayla walked to the door but I stopped her. Mikayla please. All you saying is please, well I have on for you please leave me alone. She turned around and walked out the door.
