Chapter 8

August P.O.V
After Mikayla and Shad went in the house my mom started asking me where she was, so I went in the house looking for her. When I got to the bathroom I heard what sounded like crying. Hey is every thing okay in there. Yea I just cut my lip. Yea right. Ima just wait here till they think I'm gone. After awhile I heard the door unlock and Shad looked dead at me. Shad: wassup. August: nigga don't wassup me, get out my way. I walked in the bathroom and saw Mikayla at the sink wiping her lip. I walked closer to her and grabbed her arm so she would turn to look at me. Once she turned around I a big red mark on her face that kind of looked like a hand. Oh hell naw. I took of my jacket and punched the shit out of that bitch ass nigga. No August don't hit him any more just make him go out side. I looked at Mikayla tryna decide if I should kill him or just kick his ass out. I'm not tryna go to jail so I just grabbed him by his color and drug him outside. Damn nigga get yo hands off me. I punched his ass again. Next time I hope you think before you hit a woman cause her best friend might just be a nigga like me. I kicked him in his stomach. Now get the fuck out of here bitch. Ight then nigga, Mikayla come on. Naw man she going no where with yo bitch ass. He looked at Mikayla and started smirking. Ok bitch y'all both better watch yo back. He said while walking to his car. I was pissed the fuck out but I had to remember that my friend needed me. I walked over to her. August I'm fine I don't need a hug right now. I kept on walking to her. August I'm fine. I finally got to her and pulled her into a hug, and she started to break down and cry. It's ok your safe now. I'm so sorry for not telling you he said he was going to kill me. After that she cried even harder. Man I have never seen her like this before, he is most definitely gone pay for what he did. I gotta go. Where? Home. HOME? She stayed silent. Mikayla no you staying with me. No August you got yo girl an.. ( gco ).... I don't care your living with me and that's final. Alright but I need to get my stuff and my car. Alright ima bring the boys just in case he try something.

Mikayla P.O.V
When August punched Shad I was so relieved, but then I thought I would have to go back. But August told me that I'm living with him so now I feel better, but now we have to go back to the house so I can get my stuff. So August got all his niggas and we drove to the house. When we pulled up Shad's car was in the drive way plus another one uh oh I hope there won't be no fighting. We walked up to the door and I unlocked it and the boys followed me up stairs. When we got to the top we heard moaning and we all looked at each other like what the fuck. So August busted the door open and there Shad was with no other than Shanelle me and the boys all looked at each other and started laughing, but then I stop cause what if he was fucking her while he was with me. All I know is ima have to go get a checkup after this. We all walked into the room and they both was looking scared as fuck, but we just walked over to my drawers and started getting my stuff. I pulled out my suit cases and we just started throwing stuff in. When we was done they was still on the bed looking scared. I walked up to Shad and looked at him for awhile. Before punching the dog shit out of him some of the boys had to pull me off of him. Ok ok ok I'm done. I fixed my clothes and walked out the room not before grabbing the keys to my Aston Martin. Bye hoe. Man it felt so good to never have to come back to this house I can finally breathe. I got all my stuff in my car and August decided to ride with me to his house. Thank you so much for helping me August, I really love you. It's no problem ma we best friends, and I love you too. I stop at a red light and give him a hug. I am so grateful for you. I kissed him on the cheek and started driving again. We sat in silence for a while before I realized something. Oh my god August you need to call Simone. Oh shit thanks for reminding me. We pull up to his house and August is still on the phone with Simone. I gave him permission to tell her about my situation and the only thing she was worried about was if I was fine. She is really nice I hope August keeps her around. I wait for August to unlock the door, then I carried my stuff in and went to the guest bedroom. It was pretty big I just let my bags drop on the floor and I fell on the bed. I didn't know what else to do so I just cried. I don't know why but it felt good. I heard August coming towards my room so I sat up and wiped my tears as best as I could. Girl don't even front I know you was crying. I can't help it and they were tears of joy. That's good you ready to go back to my mama house. Yea, I'm hungry.

August P.O.V
When we got to my mom house Mikayla turned to me and said. Um could you not tell your mom what happened I don't want her to worry too much. Yea I just hope Simone ain't say nothing yet. Oh shit, come on. We walked in the house and went to the back looking for Simone. There she is. She was by my mom talking. Me and Mikayla hurried up over there. Mikayla grabbed Simone and I distracted my mom.

Simone P.O.V
While I was waiting for August and Mikayla to get back from the house. While I was in my thoughts August's mom came over to talk to me. Hey Simone where is August and Mikayla. Um..... Oh they um went to get some more ice. Oh I didn't know we were low. Just when I was about to say something else I felt someone grab me and pull me away. I pulled my arm away from them and turned around to see who it was. Mikayla! What you pulling me for?!! I just wanted to get you before you told mama what happened. Oh well I didn't tell her everything is fine. What did you tell her? That y'all went to go get ice. She was silent and looked at me like this 😑. What? You really think she gone believe you. Yea. She shook her head. Girl come on let's go see what she has to say and get some food in the process. Girl I feel ha. We both laughed and walked out side.

August P.O.V
While I was tryna distract mama, she asked me where me and Mikayla was. Um we went to go get ice 😏. Oh really. Yes. Then where is it. I put it in the cooler. My mom was still questioning me, but thank god the girls came outside. Mikayla: hey mama what up. Mama: girl don't hey me where you been. Mikayla: me and August went to go get some ice. Mama: Mhm let me find out y'all lying. After that she walked away, we all looked at each other and started laughing. Then Simone stopped like she was realizing some. Oh my goodness Mikayla are you ok? Yea girl I'm fine. She rolled her eyes and pulled Mikayla into a hug, Mikayla looked so shocked, shit I was standing there all awkward and shit. Um Simone let her breathe. Oh sorry I just know how you might fell right now. Me and Mikayla looked at each other like what. Simone what you talking about. She looked at us like she was scared. I'll tell y'all later but right now I'm hungry.

Mikayla P.O.V
After we were done partying ma, August, and Simone decided to go home. But first let me make a plate 😂😊. Damn Mikayla you making another plate and we about to leave. Boy shut up this is for when I want some to eat in the morning. Ha wat eva ima see you at the house. Ight. After I got my plate I got in my car and drove to August's place. * at August house * In knocked on the door a couple of times and I was finna call this nigga until he opened up the door. Damn what took you so long. You interrupted a very important thing for me. Oh I'm sorry do you want me to come back later. Mikayla no you live here now ima just have to make you yo own key. Thank you um can I come in now or....... Oh I'm sorry. He let me in and I just put my food in the kitchen and went to my room. Goodnight Mickey. Goodnight big head. He laughed and went in to his room. When I got in my room I stripped to my bra and panties and got in my bed. Man today was crazy first Shad wanna be all nice then he wanna hit cause I asked him a question, and now I'm living with August cause he saved me from Shad. Ha my muther fucking life. Let me get som sleep I have work tomorrow. I hope every thing goes well.
