Chapter 19

August P.O.V
When my mama let me in I closed the door behind me and followed her into the living room. When we walked in I saw Carmen, Camille, and Erica. I was finna ask mama why they were here until I walked all the way into the living room. Then I saw Mikayla sitting down in a armchair. August: Mikayla? Mikayla: hey August. I was about to say something until I looked down at her stomach, when she realized what I was looking at she covered her self up. I was really at a lost for words. Sheila: um let's give them some alone time. After they left out I sat down on the couch and put my hand on my chin. August I know this can be a lot to take in right now but..(gco). YOU DAMN RIGHT, HOW THE HELL COULD YOU KEEP THIS FROM ME! First of all don't yell at me and its your fault that I didn't tell you, maybe you should keep your lips to your self!!! Just because I cheated on you, you decided not to tell me you're pregnant. I didn't tell cause the day I found out I was pregnant was the day you.... She choked on the last part, then she got up and gathered her things. Mikayla wait. No I have to go now. She turned around and walked out the living room while calling for her friends. After I heard the door slam shut I just put my head in my hands. Why did I have to be so stupid, I should have just let Simone stay at her place and choked up on her occasionally. But I just had to have her at the house I'm such an idiot. Next time I talk to Mikayla I need to be calm and not blame her for my wrong. While I was thinking about her my mama came back in the living room. So I'm guessing you didn't take the pregnancy so well? Yea, I was just so surprised I let my anger take the best of me. I heard. Mama? Yes baby. What should I do, I don't want to lose her again.

Mikayla P.O.V
After I left Sheila house I just sat in the car and looked out the window until we got to Carmen house. When we got there I was looking around until she said something. Mikayla are you ok? Yea I just wanna lay down, I'm pretty tired after that flight. Ok I'll show you your room. She walked up stairs and I followed. When she got to the top she went to a room at that was one door down from hers. When she opened the door I was impressed, the room had an all purple theme. Carmen this room is really beautiful. Thanks, when I moved in my mom helped me decorate. Well she knows what she doing. After me and Carmen talked for a little bit more I got settled in and took a nap. *30 minutes later* I woke up when I heard knocking on my door. I got up and answered it. When I opened the door Camille was standing there. What's up Camy? My mama told me to come wake you up cause dinner is almost ready. Ok let's go. She grabbed my hand and we walked down stairs. As we got closer to the kitchen I could smell fried chicken. Thank god I haven't had soul food for a whole month. When we walked in the kitchen I saw chicken, macaroni, and greens. I was in heaven, I could not wait to eat. So I hurried up and sat down. Damn girl I saw how fast you sat down. Girl I had to that food look too good. After I said that she sat down, then we said grace and ate. After dinner we sat in the living room and watched tv, then Camille started to fall asleep so Carmen took her upstairs. When she came back she sat next to me on the couch and turned off the tv. Why you turn the tv off? Cause we need to talk about you and August. There's nothing to talk about. Yes there is because you're having his baby and you can't keep him away from his child. I know but I really don't want to talk to him right now he really upset me and I was ready to compromise with him about where the baby will live but right now I just need time. Ok but you need to talk to him before we leave. I know.

August P.O.V
After talking to my mama and getting advice from her I decided to give Mikayla some time. To get my mind off of her I decided to go hang out with my niggas and just have a stress free day. So after I called them I started to get ready then head to the club. *after getting ready* when I was done getting fresh I hopped in my Lamborghini and took off to the club. When I got there it was turnt up. I looked up to the vip section and saw my niggas up there surrounded by girls. So I went up there with no hesitation. When I got there I saw Chris brown, Trey songz, and Kirko bangz sitting with my home boys. When I got over there I dapped them up and sat down. While I was pouring me a drink I felt somebody looking at me so I looked up and saw this fine ass girl looking dead at me. I almost spilled my drink and she started laughing and walking over to me. Hi. Wassup. I'm Brianna. She held out her hand for me to shake. I grabbed it and shook her hand. August. I know who you are, I'm one of your biggest fans. Oh that's what's up. She smiled and sat next to me so I started drinking my peach Ciroc and talking to my niggas. After about an hour I had about six drinks and that girl was all up in my lap. Then she got close to my ear and whispered lets get out of here. So I said goodbye to my homies and told her to follow me to my house.
*next morning*
Mikayla P.O.V
I woke up and decided not to get up right away. So I was just laying in bed thinking about what Carmen said. I can't keep my child away from August just because he wants to kiss up on other women. Me and August don't have to be together but my son does need a father in his life. So I decided to go over to August's house and compromise living situations. I got out of bed and did my hygiene then I put my hair in a pony tail and put on a pull over sweater and some jeans. I'm surprised I can still fit most of my clothes, but I know ima have to get bigger sizes soon. After I was done getting ready I headed downstairs to see Carmen and Camille in the kitchen making breakfast. Mikayla: good morning. Carmen: good morning sleepy head. Mikayla: aha what ever. Camille: good morning auntie. Mikayla: good morning sweetie. Carmen: where you bout to go? Mikayla: how you know I'm finna go some where? Carmen: cause you dressed up. Mikayla: not really, but I'm finna go talk to August. Carmen: oh that's why you dressed up. Mikayla: girl it's just a sweater and some jeans, plus I'm only going to talk to him about the baby. Carmen: oh so now you wanna listen to me. Mikayla: girl whatever. Carmen: mhm just admit it I'm good. Mikayla: aha what ever, but I'm about to head out. Camille: you don't want any of the breakfast that me and mommy made. Mikayla: oh sweetie I would but my tummy kinda hurts. Camille: maybe you should take yo baby out of there. Me and Carmen laughed at here. Mikayla: aye Carmen can I borrow yo car? Carmen: yea but where yo car. Mikayla: in the airport parking lot. Carmen damn girl you left yo car there for a month. Mikayla: yea, I was in such a rush that I forgot about it. Carmen: well we can go pick it up later. Mikayla: ight I'll see y'all later. I walked out the house and got Carmen's car then headed to August's house.

August P.O.V
I woke up and felt somebody next to me. So I turned over real slow to look at the person. When I turned around I saw this bad ass girl. Well at least she ain't ugly, but she do need to go. So I got out the bed and she still didn't get up, so I decided to take a shower and brush my teeth and if she ain't up when I get out then I'm waking her up and she gone have to get out. So I took my shower and when I got out this girl was still sleep so I cleared my throat to get her attention. She moved a little then opened her eyes. Good morning August. Um good morning. I had a great time last night. Yea uh me too, but I have stuff to do today so......... Oh I get no problem, but um can we hang out later? Um I'm not gone be in town too much. Oh ok well I guess I'll see you around? Yea I guess. She got up and gathered her things and walked out the door. I followed her down stairs and she stopped at the front door. Well uh bye. She tried to hug me but I held out my hand for her to shake. I know I'm being mean but I don't need no one night stand tryna catch feelings for me. After we shook hands she opened the door and somebody was standing on the other side.

Mikayla P.O.V
I pulled up to August house and I saw another car in his driveway. I hope it's one of his friends and not some girl cause I just know ima get a attitude. I walked up to the door and was about to knock until the door swung open. It was a girl and August was standing behind her. She looked at me with a stank face. Mystery girl: can I help you. I must've looked at her for a good minute then I turned my attention to August. Mikayla: hey August can I come in? August: yea come on in ma
The girl looked at me then at August. Mystery girl: bye baby. She tried to kiss August but he leaned back so she wouldn't, I tried my hardest not to laugh. She looked at me and hurried up to her car, when she got in I busted out laughing. Now August you know you bogus for that. Aye she now how it is ion even know why she tried, she ain't even brush her teeth yet. Hell naw. Well come in don't just stand out here. I walked in and so many memories came back to me I tried to put it out of my head and focus on the matter at hand. So why you come here ma. Uh I wanted to talk about the baby. Oh yea I wanted to talk about that with you too. Ok do you have anything specific that you want to happen. Yea I want you and the baby to stay here. Um no, I'm gonna have my own place. Ok then stay with me until the baby is born. Uh I will be leaving again after Camille's birthday and you're still on tour. Only for one more month then I'm done. Ok then I'll stay with you at the end of the month, but I'm staying in your guest house. No. Yes. No because you're pregnant and you gone need a lot of attention. Fine. Good. So you get the baby on weekends and on some selected holidays. Woah wait why can't I have my child more then two days a week. Ugh fine I'll get the baby on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. So I get the baby on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Yep. Ok so what we having any way. I smiled. Guess. Um a girl? Nope we having a boy. Thank god. We both started laughing. You didn't want a girl. Well people say that a boy is easier than a girl. Yea I was thinking about that too. So what you gone name him. You already know what ima name him. Good cause I always wanted my first son to have my name. Hmm maybe I should name him Zachary. Hell naw, ain't none of my kids having that name. Boy bye. We both started laughing, then I got up. Well I guess I should be going now. Oh ok I'll see you later. Bye loser. Bye freak. I laughed as I walked to the car. Ugh this is gonna be a long journey.
