Wandas POV

The Next Morning I woke up next to Y/n in our bed at the compound. I convinced her to let us stay here an extra few days so I could get the drum set for her but I needed help from Peter. 

So, I made sure to wake up early so I knew that when it was done she doesn't try to drag me back in bed with her, as much as I wanted to stay asleep in her arms.

I manage to get out of bed without waking her which I thought was impossible but I did. I got ready and dressed for the day and before leaving I gave Y/n a kiss on the side of her head while she laid peacefully. 

"Ready?" Peter asked I nod. I turn to Carol and Nat. "Keep her busy, make up a fake mission if you have to so Tony can decorate for tonight." They nod in agreement as Peter and I walked out.

We went to the music store and bought the drum set; I was going to be showing it to her tomorrow after our double date. Carol came up with a plan for us to give her her gifts tomorrow instead of tonight which everyone else is doing. 

And when we go bowling, we give her our gifts, Carol will give her drumsticks until she realizes what's going happening and so on. Peter and I packed up the car and brought the set inside our place and started setting it up.

Nat's POV

"Wanda is so spoiling Y/n," I said to Carol. 

"They're in love that's what happens, the hard ones turn soft." 

"True I think she's getting better around you,"

"Me too, and I think you're getting better around me, someone told me you hated me the most after the mess I pulled on Y/n" 

"You got that right." We laugh and talk a little more until we hear Y/n coming down the stairs. "You look like a zombie" I said, 

"Where's Wanda?" She asked, 

"She had to go on a mission, she didn't want to wake you, but she should be back soon. In the meantime, Tony has a mission for the three of us." I said. 

"Uh yeah ok let me just get some coffee. You guys want any?" I shake my head no but Carol says yes.

We watch as Y/n made her ice coffee and made a second one for Carol. "Here Danvers, hope you starred long enough to know I didn't poison it." She said while Carol smiled. 

"Thanks" 

"So what's this mission for?" She asked, 

"This is a bit different; it's going to be more like a stakeout so we'll just be sitting in the car. Hydra agents have been selling weapons. So we just need to see who exactly they're sealing to because that could mean a new organization is growing and teaming with Hydra." I said. I'm an amazing liar. 

"Oh, well give me a minute to get ready and I can bring snacks in the car." She said bringing her coffee upstairs.

"She's bringing snacks on a stake out?" Carol asked just to make sure she heard right. 

"Yep, that's Y/n for you" 

"Honestly I'm quiet impressed I was expecting for her to give an order on how she wants her stake." Carol said which made me laugh. After about 30 minutes Y/n comes down. 

"What happened to Peter?" She asked. 

"On the mission with Wanda" I said, she looked confused but brushed it off.

We get in the car and I randomly drive to some spot that's far from the compound, we were watching random guys going in and out of buildings. Since Y/n thought this was an actual mission she kept pointing out different people who she thought was working for Hydra. 

"How much longer is this we've been her for 3 hours." She asked complaining from the back seat. I got a text from Wanda that they finished and made it to the compound.

"I just got a text from Tony he said our part of the mission is done." I said. 

"Finally." 

"You know we should go to the mall we could grab lunch there too" Carol suggested. 

"Sure, but Nat could you call Wanda to make sure they're ok." 

"Sure." I called Wanda acting like she was on a mission and she went along with it, she probably was in a training room trying to get her voice to seem tired because if I didn't know better, I would say she was actually on one.

Y/n and Wanda talked for a bit until Wanda said she had to go and she hung up. "Feel better?" Carol asked teasing Y/n "I do." She said which made us laugh. 

We went to the mall to waste time, most of what we did was just more looking around than actually buying. We stopped at Bath and Body Works so Y/n could get a candle for Wanda. The time was now 5:00 pm which was perfect because we were an hour drive from the compound.

We got and the car and started driving to the compound, Y/n ended up falling asleep in the back because I wouldn't let her put her music on. When we made it to the compound Carol shook Y/n to wake her up, she was so out of it, she was talking to us but she put words in the wrong order making us not understand her.

Wanda walked out the front door to give Y/n a hug before she walked in. "Hey" Wanda said walking to Y/n. "I haven't seen you all day" Y/n says giving her a hug. "I know I was busy." "How was the mission did you guys get hurt?" "Stop worrying and just come with me." Wanda says dragging her to the front door.

Your POV

Wanda took my hand and dragged me to the doors of the compound, we opened the door. She seemed so excited but I didn't see anything so I just kept following her. She put me in the middle of the room and walked away. "Are you going to kill me Maximoff?" I asked playfully "One day" she said matching my energy which made me laugh.

I waited for like a good 5 minutes "Ok Wands wherever you are how long am I supposed to stay here and where is everyone else?" It was quiet so I moved from the spot and sat on the couch I was ten minutes into the show I was watching when I thought I heard something but I didn't pay it much attention.

"SURPRISE!" People behind me yelled "shit" I say to myself as my heart was racing fast. I look over and see the Happy Birthday Banner I completely missed on the way in and all the Avengers dressed up and in the kitchen walking over.

I stand up and make my way over to them with a smile "We know tomorrow is your birthday but we wanted to celebrate it tonight so you and Wanda can have tomorrow" Tony said, I give him a hug I was honestly speechless "Thank you so much" I was able to say in a low voice. "Party!" Thor and Clint yelled.
