3. The 3 Steps

Sofia Pov
"OMG YOU LIKE DR SHEPHERD?" I ask my mom eagerly. I really hope she does, my moms had a few dates here and there but never a serious girlfriend. In all honesty i just want my mom to be happy but a girlfriend would be so nice. Especially since Dr Shepherd isn't some stranger. "No, I don't like her she's just- she's just a friend" My mom says and seems annoyed. "Oh okay, sorry" I say ending the conversation because I didn't wanna make her mad.

   When we arrive home my mom heats up the pasta and tells me that Dr Shepherd will be here in 5 minutes. I'm so excited for multiple reasons. 1) to set my mom and her up
2) to ask how everyone back home is doing
3) to have Dr Shepherd talk about Seattle so much that it makes my mom want to move back there
Don't get me wrong, I love New York but New York isn't Seattle. All my friends and family are in Seattle and I wanna be with them again. But I think my moms too busy with her job to move.

   Arizona Pov
   When Sofia was done eating she went into her room and started to do her homework. I went into my room and through on sweatpants and a comfy T shirt. I went into the living room and turned on the TV.
   A few minutes later I hear a knock on the door. It must be Amelia I assume. I walk to the door and Open it. "Hi Az!" Amelia says and I smile. "Come on in Ames" I joke and she laughs. "You can put your stuff in our guest room, I'll show you it. If you're hungry we also have left over pasta if you want. Oh and sofia's room is right next to yours so you can talk to her whenever you wan-" I start to ramble but Amelia cuts me off. "You're rambling" She says. "What no i-" "Yes you are, you're nervous because I would assume you never have people over here because you don't have friends at the hospital and you don't know what to say so you say everything all at once. In the queen of rambling I know exactly what's going on" She says and I smile. "You're right I am." I say. "I know" She says with a big grin.
Sofia walks down the stairs and see Amelia. "Hi Dr Shepherd!!!" Sofia says excitedly and give her a big hug. "Oh please call me Amelia!" She insists ans Sofia nods. "I can bring your bag to your room while you and my mom catch up!" She offers. I know that she's only doing that so me ans Amelia can talk because she's trying to set us up. "Oh that would be great thank you!" Amelia says and sofia grabs Amelia's suitcase and walks upstairs. As she's walking she turns around and looks at me and winks. This child knows EXACTLY what she's doing.

Amelia Pov
I cant believe I'm at Arizona's house. I've always had a slight thing for her but nobody knows i'm Bi. Well except for Arizona and Carina. I slept with Carina like 3 times because I was really horny and owen is bad at sex. I also slept with Arizona once at Hopkins and it was the BEST sex of my life. The things this women did to me- Anyways she probably doesn't even remember that. Sofia brought my bags to the guest room and Arizona and I sat in the couch. "How's everyone back in Seattle? The only ones that still texts me are Alex, Richard and occasionally Jo because her and Alex are married. "Everything there is great. Well I mean obviously it's not the same without you. I still find myself looking for you on the Peds floor and the fetal wing." I say. "Looking for me?" She asks. Oh shit. I told her I would look for her, how am I supposed to cover that up! "Well you know just for consults and stuff it's basically just hayes and Carina. And Hayes is boring. Carinas good in bed but we don't talk to each other that much." I tell her. That was a great way to avoid her question. Well I thought so until Arizona spit out her water. "WAIT you and Carina are dating??" She asks me. "NOOOO no no no no no. After owen I really needed sex so I went to Carina since she's some orgasm genius or something and we had sex a few times. But now she's in a relationship with someone from station 19. I think her names Maya? I'm not sure but they seem happy" I tell Arizona. "Oh okay good." She says. "good for Carina I mean" She quickly corrects herself.
We sit there awkwardly for a moment. "Sooooo" I say breaking the silence. "Sooooo" she says. "Wanna watch Tv?" She suggests. "Yea sure what you wanna watch?" I ask. "Well this is gonna sound stupid since I'm a grown adult but Sofia introduced me to this really good TV show called High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and its a children's show, well at least season one is for kids, season 2 is tv 14 so that's for teens i guess but anyways it's really good and i-" she says rambling again. I place my finger on her lips shushing her. "You're rambling again" I whisper and she giggles. "Sorry" She whispers back. "It's ok, let's watch this show. I have high expectations now" I say and she laughs. I love her laugh. It's amazing.
We get up to episode 2 and this beautiful song comes on. It's called Wondering and it makes me tear up. Arizona looks at me. "Are you crying!?" She asked shocked. "No!" I lie and she laugh at me. "YOU TOTALLY ARE!! OMG" She says and I wipe my tears. "It's just an amazing song! They're both really great singers! And the way Ricky looks and Nini at the end of the song is just perfect! They're so in love but are too scared to admit it!" I say and she's still laughing at me. "I told you it was good!" She teased and I laugh. We got up to episode 3 and Arizona placed her head on my shoulder.

"MOM WAKE UP IM GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!" Sofia shouts. and it wakes me up. Did me and Arizona fall asleep in the couch together? "OH CRAP!" Arizona jolts up. "MOM I DIDNT EVEN GET BREAKFAST YET!" She says and I can tell she's nervous. "Hey Arizona why don't you go upstairs and do whatever you need to do to get her to school on time and i'll make her breakfast" I offer trying to make everyone less stressed. "You're a lifesaver" Arizona says to me and I smile walking into the kitchen to make sofia some breakfast.
