Sorry to leave you all waiting a few days, Haven't had the motivation for this particular story, but I got myself motivated. Hope you enjoy this chapter.

In the Ramshackle Dorm Hallway, (Y/n) and grim teamed up to fight the troublemaker ghosts, While the ghost were trying to attack (Y/n) quickly pointed them out to Grim and told him where to attack, the blue flames that came from Grim's mouth hit the ghosts and made them disappear, it was a long battle but in the end (Y/n) and Grim were victorious as the ghosts all exclaimed in pain as the biggest of the exclaimed "Hee, heeeeeeee! We're goners! Run away~~!!" As the ghost all collectively disappeared.

(Y/n) POV

"E-eh? We... won?"
I turned towards Grim and nodded
"Yeah we won, you did amazing"
Grim breaths out a little as he was slightly shaking
"That was sc.."
He stopped himself and regained his posture looking a bit pouty
"No, I wasn't scared at all!"
I snort a little at the sudden shift
'man what a little tsundere'
"This is nothing for the Great Grim!"
'Ah now I know two people who like to stroke their pride, greeeat'
"How 'bout that, ghosts? You done?"
As soon as Grim finished that sentence I hear footsteps, it makes his ears also perk up a bit as look behind me. 'Why do I have a sneaking suspicion that this is not gonna be good' as soon as I thought that of course Crowley appears with a tray of food. His eyes were closed for the moment as he was smiling. 'Well this is gonna be fun to explain'
"Good evening. I have graciously brought you supper." As soon as he opens his eyes he notices Grim right next to me, I swear he gained a tic mark as he hands me the tray. He goes towards Grim and picks him up by the scruff of his neck
"You're the monster that ran amuck during the entrance ceremony! I threw you out of the school, What are you doing here!?"
I casually started eating my dinner as the Headmaster yelled at Grim. Grim huffs and crosses his arms a bit cockily with a pinch of anger.
"I exterminated the ghost problem! Be grateful!"
The headmaster blinks and makes a questioning noise looking a little confused. I continued eating because I'm sure if I didn't now I probably won't later.
"What do you mean by that?"
I swallowed my food
"It means we had a run in with some troublemaking ghosts sir, you of all people should understand that right? I mean you do own this school, and headmasters should know about their schools, right Crowley?"
Both Grim and Crowley sweat dropped at how truthful my statement was before Crowley had let go of Grim to hold his chin, pondering in thought, I continued to eat and Grim made his way back to me.
Crowley hums
"Now that you mention it, there were some prankster ghosts living here so students keep away from this dormitory."
I deadpan a bit as I swore I felt a vein appear.
"And that's why it's now empty. I'd forgotten that. However."
He hums while I try to keep my composer and refrain from jumping onto this man and strangle him.
"For you two to work together to get rid of them."
Grim crosses his arm
"I'm not gonna overlook that 'together' comment. She was just standing there watching. And I did this for a can of tuna."
I felt my eye twitch, as that bitter taste comes back.
'Says the one who doesn't know how to aim'
Though going unnoticed by all of us the flame in Grim's ear flickers violently, like someone else was the cause of it.
"Ah! I haven't gotten that tuna yet!"
Crowley crosses his arms
"I'd like the two of you to show me how you exterminated those ghost."
I sigh slightly, quickly finishing up my dinner before setting the tray down. Grim puts his paws on his hips.
"But we already gotten rid of all he ghosts! Before that: Give. Me. Tuna!"
I sweat dropped at Grim's attitude and sigh a bit.
"I shall be the ghosts"
This makes me look at Crowley with a strange look. 'how the hell...'
"If you beat me, I'll give you tuna cans. For I am gracious." He says giving a closed eye smile
He pulls out a bottle of some sort of liquid
"Transformation Potion!!"
He takes off the lid and drinks the bottle of liquid and in a flash of light Crowley has changed into a ghost. I just blink a few moments and just sigh I set down the now empty tray with some scraps left on the plate and prepared for the battle.
"Eeeeeh. I don't wanna. This is a pain and I have to team up with them again...." Grim whined making me roll my eyes slightly and mutter softly
"if we finish this quickly we won't be a team for as long..." I paused before talking a bit louder "Grim this could be a chance for you to get into the school"
Grim growls softly
"This is the last time! You absolutely, absolutely have to give me tuna!"
I sigh as prepare and fight Ghost Crowley or Ghostley.

Epic battle Timeskip

Grim was out of breath as he was moving quite a lot when following my instruction. Hopefully since this is over we can get his tuna.
"H-how bout that?" Grim asks a bit winded
Crowley seemed a bit speechless as he answered quite monotonously.
"I can't believe... there is a person who can command monsters."
He hums as brings his hand up as a thoughtfully expression appears on his face as he hums
"Actually, my teacher senses were telling me since the uproar during the entrance ceremony that you have a talent as an animal or wild beast trainer." His eyes move toward my direction making me hum a bit.
His voice becomes quieter as he begins to mumble to himself. I look towards Grim for a moment as I thought about the pros and cons of what I'm about to ask before looking back at Crowley.
"Uh Headmaster, could you possibly let Grim stay here with me?"
This catches both of them off guard as Crowley exclaims in slight shock
"What now? A monster?"
Grim blinks and just stares at me
"You..."
"Please Crowley"
The Headmaster takes a moment before a small smile forms as he lets out a small breath
"it can't be helped. Alright."
Grims eyes widen in shock
"Hnn!? Really!?"
"However. I can't simply allow someone, let alone a monster, into school who wasn't selected by the Dark Mirror. Also, I can't let you be a freeloader here until you return to your world."
Grim frowns a little as he crosses his arms
"Well... talk about short lived joy..."
"Listen till the end. Concerning the fact that your soul was called here the school has to take responsibility as the owners of the Dark Mirror."
Crowley says with crossed arms before shifting to have them hang down beside his torso.
"For the time being you'll be permitted to stay in this dormitory for free. But other necessities you will have to provide for yourself. Seeing you have nothing to your name... Fufu, here's my proposition." I hum as a bittersweet taste comes to me I mean it's different from just pure bitter but I dislike it a little.
"What exactly are you gonna make me do Headmaster?"
It was bit unsettling the way he worded the sentence. And the way he smiled felt unnerving.
He seemed to shift into a more comfortable look on his face as if he noticed that I was slightly uncomfortable and waved his hands slightly.
"No need to fret, I'll have you do maintenance and odd jobs around the campus. From what I can see you're pretty decent at cleaning."
I let out a sigh of relief making the headmaster lower his hands looking a bit glad that he calmed me down. Crowley crosses his arms as he asks with a gentle tone.
"Would you two like to become the 'handyman' of the school? This way you will receive special permission to remain on school grounds." His eyes flicker over to me
"You'll also be able to research going home or study whenever you desire in the library. For I'm so gracious" I sigh a little groaning internally as this phrase is going to keep appearing. "However!" He basically yelled making me jump a bit, I'm pretty sure he is gonna give me a heart attack if he continues this. "only until after your work is done."
Grim gets a gloomy look ears lowered slightly.
"Eeeeeh!? I'm not okay with that"
He puts his hands on his hips
"I wanna wear that fancy uniform and be a student!"
He whines making me sigh 'Grim whines a lot this is gonna be a long time here'
His ears perk back up as Crowley states
"It's fine if you're unsatisfied. I'll simply toss you out again."
Grin tenses up
"Ffgnaa!? I get it! I just have to do it. Just do it!"
He grumbles a little
"Understood headmaster"
I mutter
"Wonderful. Then, you two, starting tomorrow, endeavor to be the best handyman at Night Raven College! I will discuss your pay in the morning, have a goodnights rest."
And with that Crowley goes down the steps.
'Tomorrow is gonna be a long day'

Meanwhile...

Since your parents have been working they never got the chance to check the mail, but (S/N) had found the beautifully decorated letter, the letter was in a blue envlope with black decoration and a silver wax seal with the Night Raven College crest on it. (S/N) recognized the logo and turns it to the front to reveal in a beautiful cursive. Since it's been only one day at the college for you the letter was found on Saturday. In cursive it reads 'To the (L/N) Family'. (S/N) opens it and reads it.
"Dear (L/N) family,
Your daughter is safe, and we will be sending her back as soon as possible. Do not worry she is in good hands. We are having an issue with traveling difficulties but as we said we will get her back to you as soon as we are able to. Though if she does not wish to return we will reach out to you and tell you so."
As (S/N) opens the letter more and looks around to see if there was any sign off to find another paper to drop. They pick it up and opened it to find a letter to them.
"Dear (S/N),
Assuming that you find this letter first, we assure that your sister is safe, I know how sus this letter is and all, but she is gonna decide whether or not if she wants to go back, this will take time due to the time difference. She is gonna be faced with some challenges and decisions. Everything will be handled and we will try our best to have her come home. But if she decides not to, it is not our fault.'
(S/N) blinks before sighing
They take a picture of the first letter and sends it to his parents, with the caption of 'We received a fancy letter telling us that (Y/N) is safe.'
(S/N) goes to look at twisted wonderland to check if the crest matches the wax seal.
And it does.....
